I have the worst arthritis ever...osteoartheritis.
I have been advised to get total knee replacements, but, I just don't think I can stand the surgery now. I'm on vicodin and mobic....which without that I couldn't live any kind of life.
Please have your Dr get this pain management for you.
Good luck!

You should not ask for help here as the reasons behind Artritis is not one folded but has many reasons. You had better to see a Rheumatolog, who can find out what the reasons are and give you the right medicine. Some of the new medicines are very potent and you must be under observation by a specially trained doctor.

Forget prescription!!!! My mother has really bad arthritis in her knee and she was taking percocet after percocet but she couldnt take the pills anymore because of how she feld. Finally one day she was told about Glucosamine and Chondroitin. It is sold under different brands such as Move Free Advanced by Schiff as well has other brands. She started to take it and noticed a different in a couple of days. She then came to find out that her doctor takes the same thing even though he prescribed a narcotic for her?!?!?!......So give it a try, they sell it at health food stores and even at alot of supermarket chains.

Good Luck :-)

At our office the most common thing we try to Rx is Mobic, but with this Medicare part D not assuming that your old enough to have Medicare, not many drug perscription plans cover them in fact, none of them that my patients are on cover them. But as Belle of The Ball said please contact your PCP for pain management.
