do u have to kiss somone who has mono to catch it? or is it something that everyone carries? also is kissing somone with mono that only way to get it other then saliva transfer?

I know it probably wont be as bad at least. Does that airbourne stuff help? Any risks about taking for a long time, like all of the cold and flu season?

Just now my daughter's nursery people called up and said to take her back as her eye started watering ,with yellow liquid and eye is slightly red and she is rubbing all the time and they suspect it to be conjuntivitis and as it is contagious to other kids we need to take her back.
she is 2 yrs old and in the morning just before i left her in nursery she was absolutely fine.i wonder what happened to her.i am right now at my work place and really confused and worried.Can conjuntivitis come all of a sudden like this.
yes she had fever about 2-3 days back but no redness or any irritation in her eyes.please answer i am really worried.........................

I think i may be getting strep because my throat is extremely sore more than just whenever i get a cold and get a sore throat. the pain is 10x worse and it keeps getting worse and there are bumps on the back of my throat past my tonsils but i don't have the white stuff on my tonsils yet...can it still be strep?

I cut myself preparing Valentine's Day flowers at a florist and recieved 3 stiches. I did get a Tetanus vaccine at the ER.

3 days later I had problems eating from a stiff/painfull jaw. This problem is intermitant in severity but always present and eating seams to be a problem.

The injection site is still painfull a week later. and my eye is twitching occasionally.... Are these normal after a tetanus shot?

I was recently very ill for over a month.It was the flu and then bronchitis....
I was feeling much better, but today I felt tired, dizzy when I stand up (only for a little bit), headachey, sore throat, chills, fever, sweats, muscle aches and overall unwell. I'm very very tired of being sick!!!! School is miserable because of it, and I've already missed quite a bit because of the past month! Only one of my teachers understands because I'm a teacher's pet (supposedly) in that class! What should I do? and what do you think I have?? I don't want to go to the doctor, I've been there several times in the past month for blood tests for mono and throat cultures for strep throat and such!

Please help!!

This current flu is killing me! I've been to two different doctors since Feb 7. Both say I have the virual flu, I didn't know there was such a thing. They have taken blood and done chest x-rays and said both are ok.
Symptoms....fever going wild! Its been as low as 95.1, and high as 102.3. It will change as much as 3-4 degrees within just a couple hours.
Tired! Can't get enough sleep! I can sleep 12 hours, get up, and within 1-2 hours, exhausted again. And the usual, muscle aches, chills come and go. This has been going on for 2 weeks now, I'm getting concerned. All my shots are current (military reservist here), in good shape, work outside year round.
Is this normal for this strain? If so, how long will this last?
