I had mono in my late teens and don't think there would be any camps for it. I could be wrong but it's not some fatal disease or lifelong illness. It takes a few months to completely go away but it does go away.

No there are not.
Mono is an infectious disease that most people only get one time, generally done in 2-4 weeks. By the time you get to camp, you should already be immune, LOL.

once again, the "doctor" is wrong.
there is no effective treatment for mono and all forms of mono are contagious, unless the blood labs indicate the viron activity is below what would be considered high enough elevation.
for camps? doubtful, but i would assume an art class or music lessons would be a plus!

I doubt it because you need to rest to overcome Mono and its not neccessarily life threatening. You simply need to relax and rest at home unless you have complications, in that case you should see your doctor.

If it is infectious Mononuleosis there many drugs of choice, please consult your pedatrician.
