I know it probably wont be as bad at least. Does that airbourne stuff help? Any risks about taking for a long time, like all of the cold and flu season?

Well, you'd certainly have less chance of infection. Even if you had perfect immunity if you somehow contract enough germs to overwhelm the defense, what can you do?

Anyway as far as airborn thingy goes, I do not trust supplements on the market shelves. University of Maryland conducted a study back few years ago testing 32 brands of supplements. Over 90% of the supplements contained less than 10% of what they claimed they had. Some didn't even have any ingredient they supposedly said they did. Supplements by enlarge are not regulared and cannot be trusted. Another issue is bioavailability. If it contains what it claims it does, are they in the form which your body can absorb easily and readily utiliize? In most cases answer is no.

You want to get your supplements from local healthcare practitioners like naturopaths or chiropractors. The products they carry in their clinic are only sold through healthcare professionals and has guaranteed purity. Some of the top brands publish lab studies of each products. In other words, you get what you pay for although it's a bit expensive. Most store shelf bought supplements, regardless of price (some are pricier than clinic carried stuffs) are waste of your money.

BTW, that Flinstone recommendation above...don't take those junk. They contain aspartame which has methanol derivative. Your body metabolizes it into formaldehyde..yes..the stuff you keep your dead frog in during dissection in your biology class. It is very toxic. The claim is that the amount is too small to harm you. Well, would you drink a drop of formaldehyde everyday if someone told you it's not enough to cause you real harm any time soon?

You can totally get infected but your immune system can probably fight off the infection faster. it really depends on the type of disease you're exposed to. cuz for some people , depending on their gene, are better at fighting off bacterial infection than viral infection for whatever reason. the airbourne stuff probably does help to some degree otherwise it wouldnt be on the shelf, but taking it for a long time is definately not good for the reason that guy downstair from me just said. Personally I think you're better off getting immunized with the flu shot or whatever they have and get in shape if you're not already cuz that makes a big difference (but thats just me practicing medicine without a degree).
exercize, it helps.

"the package explicitly states that Airborne is "not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease." This is because Airborne has not undergone any testing by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Knight-McDowell Labs would be violating FDA regulations on Structure/Function claims were they to state on the packaging that it cured or prevented any disease"

so, this isn't an FDA tested product, and there is concern that the amounts of vitamins in it are far higher than the recommended daily amounts.

maybe just take a normal flintstone or adult vitamin (but flintstone are so good!) or just try to avoid touching your face (tricky)
