yes it can. I once had strep, and I knew it was strep because it was unlike any other sore throat i had ever had, and my lymph nodes were swollen. I went to the doc and she said the symptoms I told her didn't describe strep and that there was nothing she could do. And, I told her politely that I wasn't leaving her office until she did something and that if she wasn't going to I wanted to see another doc. Another doc came and did a throat swab and sent it to the lab. Sure enough, strep. So, yea it could be. It doesn't present the same in everyone. Go to the doc and get antibiotics asap.

Know the asteroid wellhead tonsil stones them for many years and it's been title not eventually.

Best decision I've ever made! I was shocked by the way of getting out the stones out. It was so easy, but more importantly, painless. I really liked the little trick he had for preventing gag reflex. He have one happy customer here.

2)pharyngeal erythema
3)tender cervical lymphadenopathy (swollen glands)
4)Lack of cough

You don't always get white patches. My daughter had it about a month ago, and hers just got really swollen. She also had a rash spread across her neck and chest, which I've never seen happen before.
