I have taken adipex, didurex and other weight loss supliements. I'm frustrated because I'm still not losing weight. I'm exercising most days and I just need some help. What is the best diet for me to follow that will help me control my blood sugar level and lose weight? Any ideas?

If you eat foods high in carbs/sugars and then purge will it help lower your blood sugar? Would it make a difference if you are not taking meds/insulin? I realize what all the health issues are with bulimia and that it's never a good idea. I am just curious if anyone knows. This would mostly be in regards to Type 2 diabetes.

So my mom has been a diabetic for some time now and she has other health issues needing many different medications, often changing, causing her sugar levels to go all over the place. Anyways the biggest concern i have for her is that at times her sugar levels will plummet to even the low 30's. I was wondering if when this happens, what foods are best to bring these levels back to normal instead of overshooting it. Is there anything special for diabetics

When you go to the doctor to be checked for hypoglycemia or diabetes, is it better to go on an empty stomach when you're feeling the symptoms of low blood sugar? I went on a full stomach and all they could tell me was that my sugar was 103 and that I just have a high metabolism and I need to eat more. I eat all day long as it is! Whenever my sugar has been tested when I'm feeling the symptoms, I've been between 34-23. The doctor took my blood and ran some labs, and everything came back normal. So, if I'm still experiencing all the symptoms when I'm doing what she told me (taking vitamins, eating more, eating smaller, drinking juice, etc), is it possible that because I was tested on a full stomach that it was overlooked? Or can you see hypoglycemia/diabetes no matter what?

(I do have to add that I am breastfeeding so I have to add 500 extra calories onto my diet)
I had 1 medium apple with all natural (Crazy Richard's) 100% peanut butter (about 2 or 3 tblspns) and about 1/4 cup of Muenster cheese. Does this sound pretty good?
Plus I took my insulin like normal.

I was diagnosed with type two diabetes about 6 months ago.
I've gotten on the medication metformin.
I have lost 40 pounds or so.
I am wondering if there is anything at all I can do about my skin condition of dry skin and also am concerned about the bad breath.

I brush my teeth a few times a day but it still stinks after a few hours. I get tired of brushing it out again. **sigh**

Can they do tha because I have not been to the doctor in awhile? If they can I don't think that is right. If your not sick why should a person go to the doctor.

Is it possible that having an eating disorder and not getting enough nutrients (even if i am just recovering from one) suggests that you are at more risk for diabetes?

I got told i had athsma from my doctors without them caring about anything else. Some symptoms I am having are -

1. Breathlessness.
2. Increased hunger.
3. head which feels like air is being pumped into it, prevents me from sleeping much.
3. Sugar can bring it on/ help symptoms.
4. I have noticed when I am at college from 7am - 5pm I only ever need the toilet twice. Once I'm home it's 4 times in the space of 5 hours.
5. Feel weak.
6. Increased tiredness.
7. Pain in my left-side of chest on the bone bit.

There are more, but these ones happen often. Should I go back to the doctors and explain my inhaler doesnt work, makes me feel worse, and wont help these symptoms, or should I just keep quiet?
