I have a Minimed 508 insulin pump & supplies that I no longer use. Does anyone know where I can donate them? I found "http://www.charlesray.g12.com", but they only accept the Minimed Paradigm pump.

Hi, I think I might have Diabetes. Still all started 4 months ago with sweating in my sleep all the time, other symptoms I have are.

- Muscle aches
- Right foot falls asleep, other foot and hands hurt sometimes.
- Muscle twitches
- Food trigger my muscle pain. I didnt eat chocolate for 3 weeks ate some today and my stomach hurt so freakin bad.
- Hands and feet sweat sometimes during day
- Left eye became blurry yesterday ( Seeing Doc tommorow cause of this)
- Severe Fatique, really hungry lately can never get enough food and seems like im losing weight.
- Sore throat sometimes.

Now because my muscle aches are the worst in the back i think if it is diabetes this made it hard to diagnose. I had a spinal MRI and everythign came back ok. Also went to neurologist and everythig checked out.

November is national diabetes month and I was wondering (without going to my doctor) what some of the symptoms that might lead to diabetes and once you have diabetes can it ever go away? I know there isn't a cure but does that mean you have to watch your blood sugar level for ever?

I am Hypoglycemic and I know that it can lead to diabetes so I am just curious about all this.

My daughter who is 13 has these bumps on her legs and when we popped them there was hair attached, so I am assuming this is what you call "ingrown hair".

3 weeks ago I was diagnosed with Diabetes for the first time in my life.

My blood sugars were over 400, and I was hospitalized until they could be stabilized.

Now, they are in and around the 150 range.

My eyesight has been quite blurry since the beginning of this occurance.

Everybody tells me that my eyesight will return to normal.

How long does this take?

I have rheumatoid arthritis and I'm on methytrexate and prednisone (4mg a day). It's not working because the inflamation in my body has shot up. The Doctor is checking out Humira but don't think I'll be able to use it because of my heart trouble.
