I am a 23 yr old female, 5'10'' and 190 lbs. In the past week I have started to be hungry all of the time, I drink like a fish and have to pee all of the time, although I have never wet the bed. I also am EXHAUSTED, even to te point of feeling "out of it." Like I am not sure whats going on because I am so tired, and I have no strength. Also, I have the really weird, "buzzing/ tingling" feeling that radiates through my face, chest, arms/fingers and legs/feet. It doesn't last a real long time, but it happens very frequently (at least in the last 3 days). Today, while at school (I teach) I thought I was going to pass out in the restroom. I just felt so tired, weak, and faint. I dont know what to do. If you have experienced this or have any good thoughts please , please let me know what it could be. I feel so weird and am nervous.

Why do I drink sooo much water? I have been drinking this much water for the past 1-2 years. I do not have diabetes, I have gotten my yearly blood tests and checkups. I drink probably around 100 ounces each day.

I heard from a diabetic co-worker about some new thing that's an insulin inhaler instead of shots. She's newly diagnosed and her DR said that he won't perscribe it without her being on shots longer.
My boyfriend has been type 1 for 19 years and i'm just wondering if anyone is on it, or knows anything about it.
I'm not sure how it would even work, let alone if i would trust a loved ones health on it...

Anyone know anything about this thing?

I think that says most of it..
I'm dating a type 1 diabetic and when i cook i try to make things that are healthier for him even though he tells me not to worry about it too much.
Only problem is that i'm hypoglycemic so what's healthy of him is not always necessarily healthy for me.

Any ideas or recipes?

I see a similar Question: somebody also is worried about Neropathy and Diabetes.
I am Diabetical for Ten years Now and Inject Insulin, 18 Months ago I had Sciatica and Lower Back Pain that has not dissapeared.
==================================
Do I need a referral from my doctor to get an appointment to see a neurologist?
I am currently seeing my doctor for a number of things including neuropathy, diabetes and 2 herniated discs in my lower back. He has told me several times that he can not treat me for long term chronic pain yet has only referred me to a pain specialist who only does injections on my back and doesn't help with the pain for the neuropathy. I have explained to him numerous times that the injections aren't helping with the leg and feet throbbing pain due to the neuropathy. He still refuses to refer me to a neurologist and keeps telling me to go to the pain specialist.

He won't go to doctor and don't want to take med's.
He say's or does something one day and the next day he argues with me that he didn't say that or do that.

But...I can't get throught to him and it is always a problem, now finacially and is disrupting the whole house hold.
He says it is me, and nothing is wrong with him.
I am ashamed to say this, but I finally broke down after months of trying to talk to him and told him if he wasn't going to get help that he needed to pack and leave.
I am tore up about this but if he won't do it for himself let alone our relationship..what am I suppose to do? It is effecting me now. I have college classes and finals coming up.
He makes me feel bad..but I need help.

I eat more sweets than anyone I have ever known. I'm not fat (or thin for that matter either). I am very active (hiking, running, biking, etc.) several times a week but I have 4 snack packs of pudding, and ice-cream, and candy, and cookies, etc everyday.

Anyway, if I don't change my eating habits, how long should I expect before I get diabetes.

Hello,

I am female, 25 yrs. I love a person of age 32yrs who is diabetic since past 1 year.

I have the following questions:

1) What is the chance of getting diabetic from my hubby(who is diabetic) after getting marriage.

2) What are the chances of my child getting diabetic, due to father being diabetic.

Is there any risk factors of my loves life. How long i can trust his life span to be? I m much worried, bcoz i love him very much but feared of his health factor.

I don't know of his type of diabetics he is suffering from. But what i know is he does not take any insulin injections, he takes only medicines. He never takes right and regular diets as well as regular exercise as well as medicines in time.

He always talks in inferior way. says he is getting severe headache, stomach pain etc.

Recently he has gone through ECG, Cancer tests also, but he has no problems as of now.

Please help me in getting the my life's decision to be balanced.

Thanking you.

I'll explain the situation, I eat lots of chocolate supposedly, however I've been warned by those I work with that I'll get diabeties very soon. I was wondering how the body produces Insulin as well as wondering whether this can be increased/decreased by the body naturally in accordance to your diet and other external factors like excerise.

Yes I have googled this etc, not seeming to get any ideas though can someone explain this to me?

Thanks

I'm kinda chubby and I'm trying to lose weight, but I was wondering, does exercise and weight loss help to prevent diabetes? I'm looking for serious answers and I'd love credible links and research if that wouldn't be too much trouble. It just seems so prevalent nowadays, that I want to take the initiative to try and insure that I never get it, but I don't know if there is anything you could do. Will exercise and weightloss work? Thanks. :)

My sister has acute severe pancreatitis. She is 28 years old with 3 kids. She has this severe illness and she has went from 200lbs to 108lbs in the last 4 months. She has asked me to find out how she can gain weight without running up her sugar. Everytime I try to look something up, I always find what I am NOT looking for (how to lose weight or bodybuilders). I really need some help in order to help my sister. And yes, she has asked her doctor and all he tells her is to eat lots of candy bars and starches but that runs her sugar up.
