I have diebetes and want a glass 1cc syring with removable needle (obviously given the expense)

I haven't seen a glass syringe since the 60s. They have to be sterilized after each use, not to mention being breakable. I don't even know if they make the needles any more. Disposable syringes are generaly about $10 - $12 for a box of 100; I have a distinct feeling that a glass syringe (if you can get one at all) would cost more than the entire box.

I don't think they make them anymore. They have went to disposable plastic syringes for infection control reasons. They made glass syringes up to the early 1970's. My grandmother had one to use for pain medicine when she was dying from cancer.
Due to the increase of HIV and hepatitis, syringes are made for single use only now.
Try asking your doctor for information about supplies....there are several programs available for patient in need.

wow what a flash back... sorry pal... we got rid of them years ago..(thank GOD) . you might look on e bay... everything is there.
