go to social services in your city, also contact social security, I don't know if your still working or are disabled. As to the Medication, I get meds for free from the companies.
Try these websites:www.drugassistant.com

I know what it's like not to have health care and can't afford medication.
Good Luck

Pretty much your screwed unless you go through social security and claim a disability. And that takes a LONG time. :( If you are underage - I think it's 65 then you have to qualify for the disability and you will not be able to work. And you have to prove you can't work. My 35 year old cousin just got diagnosed with cancer. She needs surgery. She has no insurance. She has no job. She gets 400 a month child support for two sons. So now what? She finally got through to an indigent care program. They selected a doctor and she might be able to have surgery if they can find a hospital that will her go in for free. The cancer was diagnosed in JUNE. :(
I hate our health care system. If you have money you can have health care.

Medicare is only available to those on Social Security (whether that be SSI or SSDI-is for disabled and you don't have to be 65 to qualify if your disabled).

Can't really answer this question without knowing what your status is? Are you on disability? State or Federal? Are you still working or not and that's why you lost your heath coverage from work?

Medicaid is offered by the State, but don't know if you qualify. If you provide more info, I can give you a better and more complete answer: county and state location you reside, income status like working or not or on disability, low income or not, if on disability for how long expected, and name of med's. If any of thats too personal you can email me privately and I'll get back to you.

I doubt if you can get medicare help unless your 65 years old. You need to look into your state Medicaid program. Good Luck. Another thing is you can call the drug manufacturer they have programs for free drugs for people who cannot afford them.
