My boyfriend is a type one diabetic and he never checks his blood sugar because he says it is too painful. I want him to take care of himself. Are there other testing sites that you can get the same amount of blood? Can anyone give me info on new testing moniters available. Please help me.

In the past two weeks I have been so thirsty, I go the the RR all of the time, I am absolutely exhausted and just in general have no energy or ambition to do anything, I can't focus on working, I am straving and eating all of the time, and my sugar every morning ranges between 130-170. Could I be diabetic? My dr refuses to believe me, and won't run a fasting glucose. What should I do? Please help. Also, I am 23 and weigh 190 lbs and am 5'10''.

The instructions say to drink "plenty of water" and warn of liver damage if you are dehydrated. But how much is enough? Will it hurt me to take a hot yoga class or use the steam baths? I can't count on just drinking when I'm thirsty, because I'm thirsty all the time. And I have to pee all the time as a result, so I don't want to just go on a water jar. Obviously I'll call the pharmacist tomorrow, but wondered if anyone else has been through this.

I used to take Tea without Sugar or sometimes with Sugar Free Natura. Lately, I feel comfortable with taking normal sugar. I'm diabetic since a year & sugar was always under control at 140.
