Hi, no matter if u are a bit bigger Ur blood level of glucose's should not be higher even after the food. It s true that it varies a lot according what do u eat. But body is great "machine", so after 2 hours it should get smaller.. Anyhow, I dont know in what units u wrote these numbers (I m from Europe and we re measuring glucose's in mmol/l). So I'm sending u one page what should answer and explain Ur questions. PS: Anyhow u should visit Ur doctor and he will make u certain tests..Nothing spectaculous.. One is that he will give u to drink a VERY sweet tea and he will check every few minutes how Ur body can take it.. And even u have diabetes, dont worry, we can help u and u can live full and normal life.. Just u will have to take care more about what do u eat;) And tea called LAPACHO,from one Indian tree, it s helping a bit, putting down cholesterol level and helps sugar level as well.It s not harmful, nothing. Just natural medicine. well, good health;)

what should i do?..........your fasting sugar shd not cross 100 and 2 hrs after meal should not cross 150. Keep this in mind.
Now you have to take precautionss. you should cut down on sugar completely and dont eat sweets either. fried food specially potato chips is a no no. check your weight. Once you lose weight automatically the sugar level will come down. for this you have to walk everyday half an hour in the morning and half an hour in the evening. fast food and bakery food shd be avoided and instead include alot of vegetable salads and fruits and fibre in your diet and then see the magic......
start the above immidiately......GOODLUCK !!

watch your carbs, write down what you eat at each meal (daily)
and mark down your blood sugar level too to keep tabs and your doctor will also want to know what's up too.
if your reaching 198 you need to walk at least a mile then take your BS again. you really have to watch so else you can get into big trouble, kidney problems asama . talk to your doctor.what meds are you on? or maybe you need some?
sugar levels are determind on what you eat when you eat and how much you eat.
are you a type 1 or 2 diabetic/

Are you already diagnosed as diabetic? Is that how you know how to check your blood sugar? If so, what did your doctor advise you to do for this? Do you have oral meds, or are you on insulin? This sounds like a question for your doctor.

Start learning about diabetes, and the dietary control thereof. Also check out yeast (candida albicans) systemic infestations. I have both of these conditions, and by working on bringing the yeast under control, I am able to control my diabetes by diet alone.
There is some info about yeast systemic infestations at www.hufa.org.

You're eating the wrong foods!
Cut out potatoes or rice, and use whole grain breads and fresh vegetables. No more than 45 grams of carbs in one meal!
