I assume you think you may be Diabetic?
Get it checked immediately by a doctor. No ifs and buts!
Because your body stops producing insulin the sugars you've absorbed from the food you've eaten builds up in the blood instead of being metabolised by the insulin for energy.
The excess blood-sugar is expelled by the body through peeing it away (not all of it though) this dehydrates you and makes you feel thirsty, you drink more to quench the thirst and you pee more, you start to think you are peeing excessively because you are drinking excessively! Dont.
Because sugars are not used as energy the body has a remarkable ability to get energy from wherever it can, and will use fat cells instead. You then start to lose weight - sounds like the atkins diet? - don't do that either! (24 years ago I lost 21 pounds in six weeks this way!) This process can create a side effect called Ketoacidosis which is toxic. It will create a sweet smelling breath they usually say like pear drops.
You will feel tired and exhausted all the time, suffer with a strange kind of confusion and your judgement may be impaired.
If this is not dealt with you will suffer all manner of other complications. These can cause long-term health problems. Now read what I wrote first again and get it checked!

Depends...
Being overly thirsty constantly and frequent urination are definite signs that one might be diabetic.
An inability to keep down food, and eventually even water over a period of days to a month or more is common as one advances.
This results in severe weight loss.
If you have any of these symptoms see a doctor, a simple test can determine if you are diabetic or not, and treatment can range from changes in diet and exercise to insulin injections.
Take care,
-dh

Being tiard, very thirsty, regularly getting up to go to the toilet during the night (as this can indicate that you need to go more often than is normal), thrush and similar skin infections, low immune system. All the symptoms of diabetes could also be symptoms of something else or of nothing at all, but why take the risk and delay starting on treatment - take a urine sample into your drs and they will be able to tell you if anything's up.

The symptoms of Type I diabetes often come on suddenly and very severely. They include:
* being exceptionally thirsty
* dry mouth
* the need to urinate often
* weight loss (even though you may be hungry and eating well)
* feeling weak and tired
* blurry vision
Sometimes, people with Type II diabetes don't notice any symptoms or the symptoms are experienced gradually. They include:
* blurry vision
* cuts or sores that are slow to heal
* itchy skin, yeast infections
* increased thirst
* dry mouth
* need to urinate often
* leg pain

Thirst, excessive urination, tiredness, blurred vision, numbness in feet, cuts on feet slow to heal etc. One does not necessarily have ALL these symptoms, but excessive thirst and passing water is enough to spur you on to visit the doctor or have your sugar level checked at a pharmacy. I am talking the by far more common Type 2 diabetes here! Hope that helps.

I never had any symptoms except I drank a lot of water but I had no idea I was diabetic, hospital tests came back negative, then later doctors came back positive.

You can be diabetic and show no symptoms too. If you suspect you are, get checked. The sooner it can be caught, the sooner you can be treated, and the better off you'll be.
