No doubt it has affect on depression. You will have highs and lows, and diabetes adds to those highs and lows. Get into a doctor to see if they can properly diagnose what is happening with the depression and diabetes combination.

Yup, it sure does. Diabetics have a higher incidence of depression than the general public for many reasons. Just the hormone imbalance itself causes depression or depression like symptoms.

My late husband had his finger tip amputated and was never the same. We tried for days for the doctor or nurse to see this. Finally a nurse witnessed it. It's a downhill battle and I feel for your family.
