First you must know what is a diabetes
Second what is ur age
Third what is ur B.P
Fourth What is ur present condition which means your A-1c level
Fifth --- What is your weight
Sixth-- What is your Lipid profile
Seventh-- Do You have any eye or foot problem and or any amputation
After assessing all this a diet plan with rich source of protien minerals, carbs can be decided. For assistance visit www.American diabetes association. and take free30 year risk test. Then U know what is what. Please do not generalise that this or that will be a good diet. It depends from preson to person and the condition to another condition. Ideally speaking we can only generalise Vegetarian diet the best for diabetes. So be careful at the same time u can enjoy different dishes provided u know their glycemic value and ur condition.

Every person is different. If you are a type II diabetic and you are on oral hypoglycemic agents, you can help yourself a great deal by learning all about carbohydrates, their effects on your blood sugar and how to control them. Controling your carbohydrate intake will dramatically improve your blood glucose levels.
Exercise is critical to type II diabetics. Regular, scheduled exercise. Walking is the best. Always check with your doctor first.
Read the book, "Diabetes Solutions Revised and Updated by Richard Bernstein, M.D. - My husband is a type II diabetic - this book changed our lives!!!!!!

Low sugar, strict and controlled diet. The exact diet would depend on the age of the person concerned.

If you are not insulin dependent or taking medication, this is how to control your diabetes:
Only eat 45-60 carbohydrates per meal. You'll have to do a lot of label looking, but it works. You'll also find what you like has too many carbohydrates to eat a lot of.
