I had oral sex and kissed a guy and about a week later i got a really bad hacking cough keeping me up at night for a few weeks this subsided but persisted for 4 months, what could it be? its definately viral as it occured about a week after this event.

he also has Weakness, Increased heart rate, cramps, plus some low grade feverwhich is now gone.
He had his thyroid removed 25 years ago by Radioactive iodine due to Graves disease.
He has been to the doctor and specialist and now waiting on stool samples to come back.....first sample came back ok.
The night before he got sick we went to an Oyster roast.
He also takes blood pressure meds..
Any ideas

My friend passed away from stomach cancer. Here are just a few things I know he ate lots of:

1. Lots of red and white wine, I mean LOTS! He was a big wine lover;

2. Lots of cheeses;
3. He grew his own vegetables;
4. Lots of salami;
5. Lots of pastas;
6. Lots of pate;
7. He raised his own farm animals and would eat them > Chickens, turkeys, geese.

Anybody know if his diet had anything to do with it?

Ok for the past year or so now i been having burping problems. Like especially before i go to bed like i feel like a burp is stuck in my chest or in my throat and it wont come out and i bring my whole chest up and like it comes out kind of but not like making noise. it comes out inside my body. i can't really explain it.but then sometimes like on weekends in stuff i burp fine. and i was wondering if anyone else has this problem and what i can do for it. my one friend in my class sometimes has this problem but i didt really get in to it with her. so someone please help me!!!!!

My son was complaining tonight about his knee itching. When I looked, I saw about 16 small bumps around his knee, most prominent on the side. They look like mini mosquito bites. Upon further inspection, I see that he has these bumps all over his body - some on his back, a few on his stomach, some on his chest... Some are grouped, and some aren't. What could it be? My first thought was flea bites, but I can't find a single flea in the house. Any ideas?

Yeah, I'm allergic to apples, peaches,plums, cherries, bananas, broccoli, celery especially, cucumbers, however I'm only allergic to them when they're raw. Oh and nuts too, but raw or cooked I'm allergic. I get a really itchy throat, and when i eat celery i get extremely swollen eyes and lips, and when i eat nuts i get hives on my face and neck.

Okay, those that have/had breast cancer, which of the 18 risks shown here - http://www.newstarget.com/022157.html - did you expose yourself to? Please elaborate on amount and frequency. I'm looking for causes to breast cancer in particular. Or, if you have another good reason why you think you may have gotten it, please share. Also, how did you find out you had the cancer and how did you try to treat it?

Just over a week ago I found a lump in my right breast, I went to the doctor and she sent me for a mammogram and an ultrasound. The mammo showed a very dense area in the area of concern, the ultrasound was normal. There is quite obviously a palpable lump so my doctor has refered me to a specialist for a biopsy.
I usually trust my gut instincts in this kind of situation, I am telling my family that everything is ok and the test will show that the lump is benign, but deep down I have this nagging feeling that this could be bad. I think when I'm telling them that all is ok I'm trying to convince myself allso.
I thought mammograms and ultrasound would show if it was cancer, has anyone else been through this ? Should I trust my instincts I am really terrified ( even though I am putting on a big "I am fine" show for the family)
I am only 28 and I have 3 kids that were breast fed, this should go in my favor right?
I would apreciate any advise on this topic.

I have it on my scalp and now it is spreading onto my face. Any suggestions on how to stop this? Can the dr. prescribe anything for me? I don't want to apply that cortisone stuff on my skin because it is pretty strong.

hi, I'm in my early 20's and have a hearing impairment.
I'm having a test in a couple of weeks to see if I need hearing aids.

My hearing is bad enough that if I'm not concentrating or looking at the person who is speaking I either don't hear them speak at all or I hear their voice but not the words.
I have to have the subtitles on when I watch the T.V and I have terrible trouble hearing people on the phone.

The strange thing is I speak quite softly and quitely and I can hear myself speak no problem, which makes people think I don't have a hearing problem, but am just being rude and that I only hear when I wish to. Neither of these things are true but that is what people think.

My question is, from what I've said above do you think I will be offered hearing aids?

Also, how much hearing loss must you have to have hearing aids?

My friend has been complaining that her stomach hurts really bad. It feels "hard", and everytime she eats she feels like "the food is squeezing it's way through really hard". She said something before about "her intestines shrinking" and something about it being a chronic disease. I don't think she's telling me everything because she'll know I'll cry! It hurts the most after I eat.......I thought it was an ulcer..but the pain isnt in just one spot so it can't be...then I thought it was just gas....but it's not that either. can anyone help me? It's really painful...and has not gone away....I can only eat bland foods or im in terrible pain. Could it be my liver?? What's going on.....I'm going to speak to a doctor..but first wanted views from other people..before speaking to him. I am a female if that has any connection..but i doubt it

my mother has been ill for quite a while with heart problems, hip and back problems, in the last two years she has become immobile and suffered many falls, the last fall has seen her in hosptial where she has become totally confused and makes no sense at all, she has also become mobile again to some extent with little or no pain which she has suffered from for years due to her back and hip. she has no infection and the dr's are looking at brain scans, but this is all so sudden, can anyone give me an idea what is going on.
