I had oral sex and kissed a guy and about a week later i got a really bad hacking cough keeping me up at night for a few weeks this subsided but persisted for 4 months, what could it be? its definately viral as it occured about a week after this event.

its gone now but it was just a little strange and conincidental never had this before and dont have it now, maybe some adeonovirus, doctors cant help you with viruses im afraid, thanks )

i think its coincidental, my hubby has a cough like that too, ,,,, unless hes been with that guy too,,,,lol xxxxxxxxxxx

Your hacking cough condition is likely a viral infection due to exposure to environmental temperature extremes, where your immune system came under attack and/or exposure to inhaled carcinogens like cigarette smoke or dust.

It's even possible your cough may be a sign of some allergy you have by being near or around something you came into contact with.

Doubts exist oral sex is behind your cough. HIV infection is not very likely to occur from oral sex. But the strictly applied personal law of "No glove / No love" approach to any form of sexual activity isn't that bad an idea to adopt.

Go to the doctor, but probably just a coincidence that you started the cough soon after the bj. Still should see a doc if you are concerned. probably just allergys.

Since it has lasted this long you really need to see a Dr. I don't feel it is serious could just be allergies from nasal drip it is the season
