my sister has a pain in her foot and lower leg she has diabetaus and i think that this could be from the diabetauis

i had a baby 8 months ago, i got pregnant to the only man i have ever been with sexually, he's been with other people before me, i had no idea tha the even had this HPV but my gyno called me today and told me i had it, but i didnt have it when i was pregnant, or it didnt show up, but now it turns out i have it.. since it was detected during my pregnancy can my baby have it to?

I want to know if I have a UTI because it stings when I pee

For the record, since many questions like this need more information. I am 21 years old, male, weigh 310 pounds, and am 6'1". My build is.....fat I guess. Maybe obese. I don't know, I have never been diagnosed as obese. And in case this may have something to do with this, I am 1/4 Italian, 1/4 Spanish, 1/4 German, and 1/4 Irish.

I'm not diabetic.....or at least I don't think I am, but one of my friends has type 2 diabetes and he doesn't seem to be doing anything about it. He never checks his blood sugar (I'm NOT diabetic and I check mine) or anything of that sort.

Also, on another note, though I haven't been diagnosed with diabetes, there is a history of it on my mother's side of the family and on top of that, I am over 100 pounds overweight. Just my size alone puts me at risk for the disease.

I know someone who went in for total pelvic exenteration - but the drs. said that her condition was too severe and decided not to proceed with the operation. What next???? Are there alternative treatments??? I feel desperate for information.

i went to the hosiptal last wensday and had a diabetic screening it was 171. the doctors office called and wants me to make an appointment, i know about being over weight i weigh 225 pounds. i eat broiled food and boiled foods. i gain weight i got hooked on taking laxitivites so my weight wont keep going up. i even eat non fatting foods and it still goes up. what do you think the doctor can do about this. this is the truth about eating non fatting food. can this be a sign of diabeties.

I wash my face twice a with cleansing cream. Once in the morning when I wake up and once at night in the shower. When I'm done washing my pores appear lighter. But a few hours later they appear to be back to their original darkness. What's going on? doens't this mean that this extensive washing my face is pointless?

What do you do to get rid of a boil on your behind?
It started a couple weeks ago but the past 3 days it has been very sore and very red. i don't belive there is any whitehead on it yet. I have been applying perixode and covering it with bacetracin and a band aid. what should i do after it forms a whitehead?

Are there any other people between the ages of 20 and 35 on here who have dealt with cancer? I have noticed that there are of course places that deal specifically with children with cancer, and of course older people who get cancer. But it seems there are no programs in place for those of us who battle cancer as young adults; it's as if we aren't supposed to be sick.

I have mitral valve prolapse,and occasionally suffer from palpitations,ectopic beats and tachycardia.My symptoms have been pretty benign,but for the past month or so,the palpitations have been bothering me,so my doctor put me on Lopressor.It seems to help some,but I still have skipped beats,which are quite bothersome and unnerving.Does anyone here have this,and what,besides medication,do you find that helps? for months now I have taken my son back and forth to the doctor, at first he told us the "bumps" were skin tags, but when I saw them multiplying I knew my doctor was full of sh*t. A nurse I met in a store told me that my son has this M.C., I googled it and read up on it and everything says it is highly contagious, hmm, hence the name....however NO one in my house other than the baby has this??? Why?? I've called the doctor and here's a shock he had no answer. And I asked about treatment, he said it would go away anywhere from 6-18 months. If this stuff is so contagious, why don't they treat it? Ok and here is anothere question, is this virus a form of warts? I know genital warts are very contagious as well and we have a close fmaily member that has them, he is very careful to keep himself clean but you can never be too careful, is it possible it could be the same thing? The bumps my son has are on the trunk part of his body, not his private parts.

My best friend is currently recovering from a mastectomy. She said she'd rather poke her eyes out than go to a support group. Her concern is that they would be too negative and not helpful. She's pretty sensitive to/not interested in wallowing (and has the impression that the groups/meetings would be very much about that). She's all about moving on and seeing this experience as positively as possible (she is an inspiration!).

She could use some support and conversation from others that have been through it. I suggested that maybe there are some groups out there that are all about positivity...though I have no clue where. Can anyone suggest a good one (or more)? She lives in the Northeast US. Online sites would be good too.

I am 29 weeks preganat Asian and failed my first glucose tolerance test with a 142. Before the pregant, I weighted 112 lbs, but now I am 135 lbs. I am 25 years old. I've done the 3 hrs glucose toerance test and I am waiting for the result. However, I still would like to buy a device for watchout my glucose.
1. Is there any devices can do the test without lanciante your skin?
2. Or if I have to, which brands and model will you suggest?
3. Do I need to buy strips for that?

I am a mixed-race female 20 years old, about 6-months ago I noticed a pinkish purple-ish bruise like patch on my leg over the following weeks a second patch grew next to it and became the same size...they are both about 6mm across . They do not fade when pressed.

Since that time they do not appear to have grown, i'm going to make a doctor's appointment this week for the patches and HIV test.

My last HIV test was in August last year and was negative.

I now believe my last sexual partner (a man) who I last slept with in February may have been bi-sexual, i've had not partners since then... but the thing is I don't know what the likelyhood is of this being KS is, if anyone knows their experiance would be appreciated.
