Well I went to sleep but I woke up earlier because my arm began being itchy(its 4:18 and I woke up 10 minutes ago, irrelevent but I digress) I turned on the lights and at the end of my shoulder its a giant bump but its white and everything around it is red. My ring and index is swollen and red and my entire arm is slightly red. Also my whole arm seems to be itching.

I live in America, in a city so I don't think its an animal? If its an animal which one is it?

If theres other cause what are they?

How do I stop my arm from being swollen, because I have HSPT today and my left arm just happenes to be my writing hand.

(P.S it is hard to write this lol)

He is 16 years old and I was wondering if this could be dangerous. His doctor told me to give him a multiple vitamin. Is that enough or is he just not telling me the other possible causes?

I'm gonna do the best i can to describe this.. i had a small puffy spot on my arm about 3 months ago. 2 months ago 35% of my uper back was coverd in the same strange puffy spots. tonight i noticed my under my ear the same thing.

It doesnt itch but at times it turns bright red and if i scratch over it it turns white..

For the past three weeks I have been extremely fatigued and suffering from insomnia. It is like I just don't have any energy and I don't want to move but I have problems sleeping and when I do get to sleep I never get into deep sleep, I am tossing and turning. The past two weeks I have only gotten out of bed long enough to check the mail, eat and shower. I had blood drawn at the doctor and I am waiting on the results. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what they did to help. Thanks.

When our daughter was born, she had the slightest "stork bite" on her forehead. It looked more like capillaries that were irritated, actually. She also had tear ducts that were closed but opened up with medication. Within days the stork bite disappeared, however, it was replaced by a flesh colored knot right in the middle of her forehead.
She is almost 4 years old and has been seen by 4 pediatricinas, 1 pediatric dermatologist, 2 pediatric craniofacial plastic surgeons, and had a CT and MRI.
This lump seems to come and go but never goes away completely. It is the size of a quarter and does not seem to be painful.
It is visible with the human eye yet nothing abnormal shows on standard CT or MRI.
A pediatrician in our group saw her in passing and thinks this is possibly a Pott's Puffy Tumor but the local ENT does not think so.
We have an appointment with an ENT at UVA in several weeks.
Any suggestions on what this is or what kind of specialist we should see?

I got stung by a bee on my leg last Saturday the 29th and was infected with cellulitis, a bacterial infection of the skin. I have a growing hive. I went to the doctor yesterday (Monday) and he gave me medicine and said it should clear up soon. Unfortunately the affected area seems to be getting worse. Its turning a darker red color and is very hot. It itches badly and is somewhat painful. I feel like the symptoms are getting worse, but I don't have a fever.

Should I be concerned? I'm going for a follow-up appointment soon (Thursday?) but I'm afraid the infection is going to spread into my knee, joints, and bloodstream.

Thanks for any help!!
