For the past three weeks I have been extremely fatigued and suffering from insomnia. It is like I just don't have any energy and I don't want to move but I have problems sleeping and when I do get to sleep I never get into deep sleep, I am tossing and turning. The past two weeks I have only gotten out of bed long enough to check the mail, eat and shower. I had blood drawn at the doctor and I am waiting on the results. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what they did to help. Thanks.

I don't have any pain, just a headache that never seems to go away. Also, I am not pregnant, I was tested when they took my blood for my panel bloodwork.

there are so many things this could be. If you do not get a satisfactory explanation from your Dr. try another one. Some things it could be--depression, anemia, chronic fatigue, tic bite, sleep disorder, fibromyalgia. Do you have pain or aching anywhere?

Have you tried this challenge? It works.
1. Cut Meat and Dairy
2. Eat only organic non-processed foods
3. Walk 30 mins each day
4. Take a multi Vitamin + calcium+B12
5. Drink water, Green + White Tea

Day 1 to 3= You will notice extra energy
Day 3 to 5= Medium to severe headaches (Body detox of chemiclas, preservatives etc, less energy, not alert.
Day 5 and on and forever (If you stay the course)= Energy levels going up, more alert, happy, joyful and way less irratable.

It is amazing what food can do (or not do) to your body. A Natural high...

I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. But you can not diagnose CFS based on fatigue for 3 weeks. It has to last 6 mths. My symptoms are very similar to yours though. At this pt, your dr is going to be looking for a physical or psychological reason for your fatigue. She/he will test for the physical reasons and will ask you questions to look for mental/emotional reasons. Start thinking now about the stressors you have had in last 6 mths. Whether this turns into chronic fatigue or not may very well depend on you identifying your stressors & learning to deal with those stressors sooner rather than later. There is a big correlation between stress, fibromyalgia, & CFS. Good luck.

Fatigue that bad sounds unusual and like something you should talk to a doctor about. I've never heard of the headache (during periods.)

Well if you won't eat organic or take any healthy suggestion as to what food to consume (Your are what you eat by the way) Then take the easy way out. Go to your Doctor, take some synthetic drugs to wreak even more havoc on your body and live a miserable life. See what we care, mo-fo. He was just trying to help. Have a good nites sleep. ******.
