Well I went to sleep but I woke up earlier because my arm began being itchy(its 4:18 and I woke up 10 minutes ago, irrelevent but I digress) I turned on the lights and at the end of my shoulder its a giant bump but its white and everything around it is red. My ring and index is swollen and red and my entire arm is slightly red. Also my whole arm seems to be itching.

I live in America, in a city so I don't think its an animal? If its an animal which one is it?

If theres other cause what are they?

How do I stop my arm from being swollen, because I have HSPT today and my left arm just happenes to be my writing hand.

(P.S it is hard to write this lol)

EMERGENCY first-aid!!!

First, get a towel and soak it in ice-chilled water, then cold-compress it unto the part affected.

Search around for some insect (e.g. a "blood sucker insect is a candidate basing from your description)

Second, seek medical treatment immediately. There are times that people are allergic to "blood sucker" bites and have extreme effects.

Go now! (But don't panic...)

You sound reasonably intelligent, so I am going to suggest you find some pictures.

Google "spider bite" and then pick "images" from the menu at the top of the page. Anything look familiar?

While you are in google images, search on "methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus." Anything look familiar?

I am sending you links with descriptions of the latter, known as MRSA.

These are the only things I can think of that might cause a white bump on a red background and swelling. But it really doesn't matter what I think, because whatever you have you should have been in the ER a long time ago.

Go to the ER now.

Sounds like you have been bitten by a spider or something of the sort. You should take some anti-histamines (bendaryl and the like) and head off to the ER before it gets any worse. Is there anyone that can drive you because it may be too painful for you to drive and not good to move it around too much.

Sounds as if something has bitten you. You need to seek medical help. There is a spider, a brown recluse that causes the effects that you describe. I'm not saying that this is what"s wrong but I think you should go to the Dr. first thing this morning. good luck

Get to a doctor pronto! You could have been bitten by a spider or you could have a blood clot in your arm- either way you need medical attention immediately- don't wait. Get to the ER.
