Why is can cause extreme caffine sensitivity? I can have a can of caffinated soda at 10am and still can't sleep at midnight? A couple of years ago I could have had caffine and slept 30 minutes.

I am extremely sensitive to it too.
i think maybe sometimes they put more in there than they use to , but we get older & our bodies change.

It may not be the caffine, or your body system have changed. I tend to feel nauseated and hyper after caffine.

I can't tolerate caffeine at all now. I used to drink cups of strong coffee on nightshifts, but now I can't even drink normal tea - I have to buy decaff.
I don't know what's caused it....your body must just get sick and develop a sensitivity somehow.

I became sensitive to caffeine after the doctor gave me theophylline and I wound up in the emergency room. Now even one cup of tea makes my heart act up.
