Yes, I have it.. and like many FMS sufferers, I also have many other health problems. The more disabling ones are Fibro, Rheumatoid Arthritis, DDD/DJD, Osteo-arthritis, Seizure Disorder, Asthma, Depression, Anxiety with panic attacks, Medicine Sensativitites, Medicine Allergies, Multiple Chemical Allergies/Sensativities, and a bunch of other stuff.

For me, I can't take "the meds" for the most part.
Cherries, Flax Seed, Radishes, Tumeric & most importantly Mind-Set & progressive relaxation

yes I have it, diagnosed about 7 years ago. My original Dr. could never tell me what was wrong. Took a few tries to get a diagnosis. Wwwwaaaayyyy too many have it. It is either from exposure to our environment or it is greatly over-diagnosed. I have met some who say they have it but it is no problem. Some say they 'used to' have it. Some have it all the time like me.
Meds- Ultram, Klonopin, Flexeril.
NSAIDS medicines do not help because there is no inflammation of bone or muscle.[Aspirin, Ibuprofen, etc.]
Nothing works great.

Yes, I was diagnosed 3 yrs ago. I take Lyrica for nerve pain, Cymbalta for depression & as a SSRI, Zanaflex as a muscle relaxer, and Mobic for arthritic pain. I also do diet therapy & distraction therapy. You are right about how many ppl suddenly seem to have it once you are diagnosed. I know I felt like I was living in an epidemic when I was first diagnosed. But each of us is different & responds to treatment differently. Good luck & if you would like to chat, please email me.

I ALSO HAVE IT , ALONG WITH ARTHRITIS, BURSITIS, CARPEL TUNNEL, MIGRAINES, AND DYSAUTONOMIA. AS THE OTHER OTHER ANSWERER, I ALSO TAKE ULTRAM AND KLONIPIN. I ALSO GET THE SHOTS IN MY HIP FOR THE BURSITUS. THAT HELPS FOR A SHORT TIME WITH ALL THE PAIN. GET LOSTS OF REST, BECAUSE YOU DON'T GET GOOD SLEEP WHEN YOU ARE IN PAIN. I ALSO KNOW ALOT OF PEOPLE WITH IT. HAVE A BLESSED DAY.
