i saw my uncle yesterday, and confirmed that he is sufferring from seizures.. and my heart rips each time the attack prevails... i can't do anything except to go straight at the pharmacy and bought a medicine which will not definitely stop the problem but to help reduce the numbers of recurrence...( it recurrs every 15 to 20 minutes).. i knew he's dying but i can't bear seeing him that way. especially watching those tears upon his cheeks...

I've heard horror stories and what not about people purposly spreading HIV to others. One story was about a woman who has HIV, sleeps with men, and then writes "welcome to the wonderful world of HIV" on their mirror with lipstick before she slips out the door. Has anyone else heard of this? Thanks.

my aunt is 52 years old.She was diagnosed of infiltrating ductal carcinoma ,moderately differentiated with tumor size of 2.8 to 2.5 to2.4 cm.axillary lymph node staus was five lymph node positvie out of 22.cancer stage was 2nd .She performed surgery 12 days ago .But now she is unwilling to take chemo and radiation therapy.She fears she will die if she undergoes those treatments.I WANT TO KNOW HOW SERIOUS IS HER CASE.What are the chances of survial or prognosis if she does chemo.What are the side effects of chemo.help me please. she is very much depressed now.also where can i find relevant informations in net.

I have a friend who is a very bad alcholic and he keeps saying he wants to goto detox hes attempted to go 2 times this week but didn't go through with it the whole way. He went today and they checked his blood alchol content and it was 3.36. Is there any suggestions on how I can get him to go and stay and get dried out before he ends up killing himself. I am very frusterated with him and I don't want to turn my back on a friend but I can't sit and watch him do this to himself. Any suggestions?

I've been using Dulcolax eversince prescribed by my doctor before.
I've done Occult blood test for my stools and it's negative 5 yrs ago.
I've used all alternatives but nothings changes.
I don't used Dulcolax to often coz I'm afraid of being independent to it.
I have often have lower left abdomen pain and just this year my umbilical part (lower and upper)have pains to.
What do you think it is?
Do I need to do a colonoscopy?

I started feeling dizzy and nauseous on the 19th. I went to the doctor thursday thinking I had an ear infection but the doctor said I was fine. Today it became soo bad that I couldn't walk or drive. This whole time I've been very sleepy all day. I feel like I'm on a boat in choppy water. Any ideas on how to get rid of this besides rest or lieing down. I have no other symptoms that would point to an illness.

my father for a very long time has been a heavy drug user. he has been undependable and bounced from place to place. he was never part of my life. my grandmother and one aunt called and checked up on me once in awhile and when hed call my gram shed update him on me. today my aunt called to tell me that my father was dying. he was on life support and they were pulling his plug. he is breathign some on his own but it wont b long. his liver and kidneys r shot. he has put his body thru too much. im only 22 hes 46. i always thought when this happened id b older. i always wanted to confront him but i always thought someday hed grow up. i always felt like i wasnt enough for him and he didnt want me or care for me i had alot of therapy over my abandonment issues. i did get to c him and visit him once when i was 6 and i loved him he was so much fun i wold have loved to c him more but at some point he relized his lifestyle wasnt something for a child to b around. i respect him for this. but im..

I am a care provider and my client has several "allergies" but I have noticed that when she gets severly depressed she says that she is having an allergic reaction to whatever I may have given her to eat just minutes before. There is no rash or shortness of breath or any other symptoms of an allergic reaction, but she says that fear and depression are HER symptoms. I have never heard of fear and depression being associated with an allergic reaction.....could I be wrong?

I went to my doctor on Wednesday and asked him what I should do for my athlete's foot. I showed it to him and he said, "This is going to sound crazy but soak you feet in a small tub of water for 10 to 15 minutes with 3 to 4 tablespoons of concentrated Lysol mixed in it." I tryed it for the first time tonight and when I dryed my feet it felt like the tops of them were on fire! So I waited a couple minutes till I couldn't stand it any longer and washed my feet off with soap and water then dryed them really good and sprayed between my toes with the powder spray and had to put some after burn on the tops of them. Is it ok to do this again or is my doctor nuts?

My Dad once told me that it was cause British Farmers, under the pushings of a Government Agency, started feeding our lifestock with a mix of cheap food......

....a food mix containing lots of the offcuts, offal, entrails bones from their cousins which had been killed at the slaughterhouses/butchers..... and that nature rejected this cheap food and Mad Cow Disease was born.

He told me this long before Mad Cow Disease was actualyl diagnosed when he warned me about what I was eating - but is it right?

when it happens sometimes my fingers become swollen and are a little hard to bend. my palms will get very red and in the center of the red area it will be a slight purple shade.my feet become a little swollen and red. sometimes i will have to go and run cold water on my hands just to get a little relief from the burning and itching. my hands and feet will become red first and then they start itching and then swollen. it will usually last a couple of days.

I want to donate my kidney to a young girl who's really sick.. I meet the age requirement, but my parents are strongly against it! They have told me off the entire day like I was doing something very evil and taboo.. Who do you think is right?? What should i say to convince them? 2 years later ..i'm still alone and more depressed than ever . I still don't have any type of love in my life ... and it seems as if I have nothing to live for. My forehead comes out ...and I have yet to encounter 1 (ONE) person who shares my problem. This is why I have no faith in God or believe there's a Jesus Christ .

And why should I ... Girls think i'm ugly and I know i'm ugly . Why would any girl bring home a big forehead freak to meet their parents . All I've been doing since 17 is find a new hat to get me thru the year while EVERYONE I know around me is doing bigger and better things. I have about 1000 dollars to my name since I don't work . GOD DAMN EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE . People are getting married , rich and having kids ..while me , the big forehead guy who lost his hair at 17 is still living at home with mom and ANGRY AND DEPRESSED .

I can't take this life anymore.. a life without love or any hope of love isn't worth living at all .
