Cold sores drive me crazy. Is it possible to wash your face???? Like in the shower.

It's BEST to wash your face if you have a cold sore! It gets rid of any germs that may have spread on the face. As much as it hurts, wash your cold sore too.
To get rid of a cold sore, continuosly rub it with medical alcohol. I get cold sores a LOT!, but not much anymore, because I got Denavair or something. It's a cream you put on your coldsore when you get it, or right before you get it...and it goes away (overnight)! It is a prescription you can get from a doctor, ortho., or dentist...they will give it to you no matter what, you don't need an appointment, just go ask them.

I have, why not? Cold sores are miserable. Just be careful to not rub it. You might spread it, or at least irritate it more.
