Yes, I have had this sensation and it was horrible. I saw my GP who prescribed Gaviscon for acid reflux. Unfortunately for me it persisted and I then had an endoscopy which diagnosed a problem for which I had treatment. In your case it may be simple heartburn which can be helped by eating slowly, eating small amounts and often and taking something like Gaviscon. Stress also seemed to make it worse for me. If you see your GP he/she can make an accurate diagnosis.

I have the same exact thing. Almost everyone has it some how some way. It is called heart burn or acid reflux. it really sucks. an easy way to fix it is to go to the store and buy some TUMS they help amazingly. I believe it comes from the stomach producing to much acid so it trys to leave the body some way. Tums is a base and it reduces the amount of acid. another way to fix it permanently is buy medicine or get it checked out. a lady i work with had surgury for hers. Tums is an easy fix. over the counter pills that help are Prilosec OTC. thats what i take.

You could have one of a few things, such as gastric reflux, ulcers or scarring of the oesophagus. Go to your gp and ask for an appiontment to have an endoscopy (camera down your throat) which will show up any problems. The burning on top of the stomach also sounds like heartburn, which does cause wind. Try taking a gaviscon or rennie or something and see if that helps, if it doesnt speak to your gp.

This may not be at all serious, but it still needs to be checked
out by your doctor. Please don't be afraid and make an
appointment tomorrow. It could be simply indigestion or
a hiatus hernia, but whatever the cause there is probably a
very simple cure. Good luck!
