My children have Lice I have treated with several different things this weekend and the lice are still to the point that they are noticable. We again are treating them tonight but we hope that this will be the end of it. We hope!!! I am just wondering How lice origionally come about. What brought them to this earth? And how the heck do we keep them from comingback into our home? and off of our children? like I said we have done two types of treatment in the last two days and I also cut my oldest childs hair. To what extent should I go when disenfecting our home? I am a mother with an emergency please someone help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A friend of mine had sex with a hooker last night and he is freaked out that he has an STD, although he assure me that he used condom and did not perform oral sex at all. He did not even touch the women's genitals.

Is it possible to have an STD even though you did use condoms and you did not perform oral sex?

My son and I both have viral pinkeye, does anyone know how long it's contagious for?
We both woke up with it on Saturday and called the doctor, he called in an antibiotic, which will obviously not work for viral pinkeye, but we weren't sure what kind it was. Now I have to wait until tommorow to get in touch with the doctor and I need to know if I can go to work (I work in a preschool) and if he can go to school. We both have to be there before the doctor is in.

If anyone could let me know, I would aprectiate it!

4 or 5 days ago I went for my first 7 mile walk and about 2 days after that I went to sleep and woke up and had severe pain in the back my right side, like above the lovehandle(i dunno what its called) when I got up, took my pain medication and it went away. then the same thing happened the day after and it went away with medicine. Now it feels less painful but it's in the front and back now. What is wrong?

my step daugher has had head lice for the 2nd time this month. we've spent hours treating her and the house both times. now she has little red bite looking things on her arms and ears and neck.

now my question . i've never had body lice or seen it. Are you able to see it? can you see the bugs crawling around? do they stay in your body or in your clothes? how do you get rid of them? can she give them to us as easy as head lice ? and finally i have a newborn 2 month year old...should i be REALLY concerned about her getting it? will it hurt her? I am looking to talk to a lot of people who have gone through the treatment. Please give me advise and maybe a place to go to talk to people. I have looked into support groups in the area and they are all at times i cant make it. How do I tell people that are close to me? friends? family? I am afriad of the way they will act. Is this a normal fear? also who has had to take antidepressents with the treatment? can i make it with out? i am not a depressed person but my husband worries that if the treament doesnt work i might become depressed. shoud i still take antidepressents before i start treatment? I took them for a couple of days and i was really sick on them. i am more scared of the antidepressents than the treatment. is that a normal feeling? i could use a lot of people to talk to. wil people look at me differently if i tell them i have hcv? only respond if you have a serious answer please.

it all started the last week in may i noticed i was very fatigued all i wanted to do was seep. then i noitced i have very stiff joints all over my body wrist elbo knee ankle and everyware else also i have een more fatiged and tired headaches and and also i have been getting a lot of stomach problems like gastro-esphagale reflx disease also Gastritis thats when ur linning of ur stomach gets raw. could any of this be related i have been tested for almost everything mono,thyroid,dibetes,and i just got tested for Lyme disease but all was negative. and i got an MRI and it was fine o i forgot the nerves in my face are very stiff to and i get pain in my ears to. what is really making me upset is nobody has even tried to answer i dint care if it was something they no i dont have i just want some kind of answers. i feel like that mystery diagnosis show now i no what they are going through. i have been like this 5 months and i am going to give up with doctors but i want to be a doctor

i am in my late 20's and would like to have a child in the next 3-4 years but i was diagnosed last week with coronary artery disease and so now i have a million questions on if my heart could even handle pregnancy...i know i will have surgery soon so hopefully it will be under control but even so, is it considered safe to have children? i also was diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse/regurg when i was 12 and have been told that it would be borderline for me having children just because of that, so now i have CAD to add to it.
any personal experience/knowledge you have to share is very much appreciated! :)

it was ordered by my cardiologist and it was a CBC, Comp.Metabolic Panel, TSH, and T7 thyroid tests.

i am wondering mostly, when i get the results tuesday, will any of these show me what my cholesterol level is and if i may have hypothyrodism? my doc mentioned something about checking for anemia and an irregular thyroid but i really want to know my cholesterol levels since he just diagnosed me last week with coronary atherosclerosis(CAD) which is a form of heart disease and everything i am reading on it keeps mentioning cholesterol...if these do not and you know which test i need to request for cholesterol, etc. please let me know! thanks so much in advance :)

Im 31, for 3 months my arms started to hurt. Now my legs hurt & are achy. Im tired, can't sleep and now my hair is falling out in masses. My shoulders hurt and my neck does to. I had the electro test done..which said I have carpel tunnel in my arms. Had surgery on right arm. Did not fix the problem at ALL, in fact, its getting worse. Im scared. What is wrong with me?
