my husband had a radical neck dissection in august of 06 with removal of floor of the mouth tongue jawbone lympnodes in both sides of the neck.jaw bone replaced with bone from hip.cancer returned in june of 07 now the jaw bone is broke into and now the surgens in vanderbilt in nashville refuse to go in and put it together to stop most of his pain tey told me they didnt wont to see him no more now my question is can i take him to another surgen he is now on chemo which seems to be working pretty good but the broken bone is the cause of all of his pain since the vanderbilt surgens refuse to see him because they made there mistakes and should have used a bar to replace the bone what can i do now need answers soon

Yesterday, while laying sod, I got biten by something. Even today, after 24 hours, there's a circle around the bite with a diameter of 6 inches that's very swollen, and warm. It's also very itchy. I don't know if I should do anything about it or not. What do you think?

I am a 33 yr old female that has recently started having attacks where my rightside feels heavy and my vision will start to go. This lasts about a half hour to an hour. I am seeing a neurologist, he has put me on a calcium channel blocker and a blood thinner. The reason why I am asking this questuion is because my primary doc is saying they are not tia's, it is stress because so far my MRI and ultrasound of my arteries leading to my brain are normal. My neurologist thinks its my heart. My primary doc said it could be my heart but he thinks I'm stressed. I am very frustrated. Can you have TIA's and your tests be normal and if so, about how long do you have to live? Any insight would be much appreciated. Thank you.

My friend who is a girl and is 15yrs old has got genital warts and is scared of going to a gp or clinic cuz she doesnt wnt her parents 2no she has had sex. shes in love with the guy she is with. the prob is he is 21 and she dnt wnt him gettin in trouble. Is anyone aware of large tonsils being a problem with a child of age 3s speech?

My son has permanently inflamed tonsils and has been on numerous courses of antibiotics for septic tonsilitis, however there has been no redction in size.

We were reffered to ENT and as my son rarely complains of pain they said that there's no need to take them out.

My main concern is his speech, however ENT tell us that this wouldn't be effecting his speech. We was reffered a second time as our GP was of the same opinion as us that this would effect his speech, however after seeing ENT for a second time they said the same witout even taking a look in his mouth. They seem more interested in what amount of pain he is in.

Whilst there he had a hearing test to rule out glue ear as there were signs of glue in one ear, however the tests came back ok. We were told that glue comes and goes as the child grows up, so we have another appointment in December to see if gromits are needed.

My 14 month old daughter usually wakes up every morning with a stuffed up nose. September has been particularly bad as she can't breathe out of her nose. Is this allergies?
