You don't give your age, past history, family history, medication history nor presence or absence of other relevant symptoms, so it would be unsafe for anyone to even hazard a guess. Sensibly you need to seek medical advice.

It's possible that what you are feeling is acid reflux. It's much more severe than just plain old heartburn, and it does make you feel like you have something in the back of your throat.

You don't say how old you are, but any time you have chest pains you should see a doctor, pronto. Nobody here can tell you if it's a heart attack or something else, so please seek medical attention.

Heart, acid reflux, thyroid, lung together or alone can cause agina as described from center to throat and it's very confused! If more aging in 40s especially from 50s and pain accompanies with short of breath or spreading pain then maybe heart. If neck swells a bit then maybe thyroid. If coughs or noisy breath then maybe lung.

Better seek medical diagnostics from the hosital asap. ER for heart. Few minutes with GE ultrasound device can show image of the heart and its arterries healthy or not; etc.

Simple rule: chest pain - go to your doctor or even better your nearest AandE dept. You won't have to wait long as chest pain patients go to the front of the queue.
Most chest pains turn out to be nothing serious but always let a doctor make the judgement. If they are caught at an early stage they are very treatable.

Please go to your Dr.-I had Jaw and neck pains and I am very fit.
The ECG test under exercise condition showed an abnormal beat. They think I have angina and have booked me for that test. They said that listening to my body may have saved a Heart Attack
I am a Landscape Gardener and am used to heavy work and even my Dr. was shocked at this result-nobody on here knows the answer all we can do is persuade you to seek professional advice
Good Luck if it is only indigestion then you know for next time

sounds more like a throat or stomach acid problem to me rather than anything to do with your heart or respiratory system.Does sound a lot like heart burn or acid reflux,I can only say if you are worried about it go see your doc to make sure and put your mind at rest

If I were you I'd seek medical advice. Go to ur gp he may give you some tablets to ease the pain, none of us can give you a better advive then a gp. It may be something serious or it may turn out to be just a silly thing! gl

Sounds like acid reflux. See a doctor....it's lasted too long & you probably need medication.
