Okay, I just went to the doctors today and found out I have bronchitis. What exactly is it? and what are the chances of it developing into pneumonia or just getting worse. I am just curious

its not in my lungs, its above my collar bone and below my adam's apple.
i just got my tonsils taken out yesterday, and the surgeon said they were rotted..
i was told it could be reflux but i took medicine for it for a month and nothing happened..
please help..
the last time i posted this question i got one answer which was "i can't help much"..the 3 doctors i went to all said different things..from allergies to infections to tonsilitis..none of them seem to be the root of the breathing problem though...please help..

When any Virus dont live outside the living organism and dies as soon as it comes out, how can it transmit itself from person to person through infected needles, blood transfusion and naked sex etc? Further differing blood group of persons would also make difficult to permit change over bodies(infect)?

I went to the doctor because I have been having a horrible time sleeping. The nurse took my blood pressure and it measures 145/95. However, I am always super nervous while at the doctor. So upon pikcing up my meds, I purchased a blood pressure monitor at the pharmacy.

At home while relaxed it measures 128/84 and ranged up and down a little until I went to bed.

Upon waking, when I was just getting up, it measures 119/74, but after I ate, had half a cup of coffee it measures 136/88.

So since mine seems to vary so much, active up and about versus in bed and relaxed, how does one gauge whether or not it is high?

and she has given up on chemo. The cancer has spread to her lymph nodes and she is now just on oxygen and pain killers. We don't know how much time she has left. My boyfriend (of almost a year) has been a little depressed on and off. He gets grumpy and angry for no reason that he knows. He is normally a very laid back, calm person. Its just unlike him. What can I do to support him and help him through this?

I had a misstep when i was 12 years old. A small round bump appeared under my left ankle as a result. Now i noticed that it has become bigger. A mass of muscle enveloped the bump ( i think it's the mass which grew bigger). I had the lump checked and the doctors said that there is nothing to be afraid of. I don't feel any pain at all but im just worried that it might be cancerous. My tita died of cancer last year because she dismissed a lump under her armpit in the past 25 years.

our girl has dry itchy skin, no allergies. and no fleas... yes i am sure, and so is her vet, believe me we thouroughly checked..
she does have areas of dry skin,,,,,,
the first soap was oatmeal.. paid almost ten dollars for it, but honestly it smelled like cheap dollar store stuff.. and she was even more itchy..
i tried one at my in-laws house when we were there, it again was almost ten buck, but it had oatmeal, and baking soda, now it smelled really nice, light, and mild... she seemed to be fine after..
well it has been about 2 wks, and she seems to be ithcing really bad again...

any suggestions? she got really filthy and muddy, needs a bath. but any ideas of what to try???

I had blood work done a few weeks ago, and last week my doctor called to tell me that my cholesterol was a little high. It wasn't high enough to warrant medication, but it was high enough that it warranted discussion about ways to get it back down to a healthy level.
The two days prior to having my blood drawn I had been eating a lot of egg salad. I'm talking 2 out of 3 meals were egg salad sandwiches. I was wondering if this would have caused my results to be a little higher than usual.
I had meant to ask my doctor while I was in his office, but was more concerned with getting information about how to lower my cholesterol and forgot.

During the summer I only wear sandals and flip flops so my feet can breath. Now with the colder weather upon us I've been trying to wear socks again with my sneakers and my feet are itching uncontrobably. I am very worried. Most of the time that my mother start eating she will start coughing and it become real bad..it can last from 5-15 min..Then mucus will come out and she will be o.k. It happened the other night when she was in bed and was coughing so hard she hardly couldn't breath until mucus came out..she when to doctor a couple of time and gave her zanta 150 but didn't help much..The doctor say he thinks it's acid reflux with recurrent aspiration..Does anybody out there could explain what this is..Is it food going in the lungs or what? well, i just had a herpes test yesterday, they said they think i may have herpes b/c i have a bump, but they're not for sure. if i do have herpes what are the chances of my baby[s] gettin herpes when i deliver them?I'm not pregnant, but of course i do plan on having kids after i get out of college, But they wouldn't do a C-Section would they?
