I think my nose is infected because I have a huge bump inside my nose. It surrounds my nose ring, and it kinda hurts. What do you think I should do? Is this going to be ok? Should I take the nose ring off? What if i decided not to? please help me...thanks...

The best thing you do is to see a doctor before its too late.

Is the area surrounding your nose piercing red/pink? One thing you must Not do is take it out! Because if it is infected the piercing will heal over the infection and it'll be much much worse. The best thing to do is to see the person who did your piercing and ask them about. I had an infection with my nose piercing my 2nd month with it and I went to the piercer who did it and they gave me something new {and free} to clean it with and it cleared up within a week.

Or you can see you doctor on advice for it but I would more recommend seeing your piercer first.

How bad do you want to keep your nose? your nose ring? It's your decision and, yours only.

I've seen people come into the ER with their tongues so swollen they couldn't close their mouth, they had a stud in their tongue that was infected but, they wouldn't let the ER doctors take the stud out, they were told the consequences but, they left, we don't know what happen.

If you start having green pus run out then I suggest you go to the ER and have them look at it.

the same things happen to my ear ring ! you better consult a doctor soon before it's too late. you should take it off or else it will make ur nose bulge , reddish and hurts !! if u decided not to , try to apply some injury medicine on ur nose ring !

I would either go to a doctor or to the person that did the piercing. Waiting will only make it worse after all you only have one nose. Good Luck!
