when i got home from my tonsillectomy today, my breathing worsened after being here for a little over an hour..
is it possible allergies or mold allergies could be contributing to all of this?

It could be an enlarged thyroid, but you are indicating also the esophogus which is the tube which you swallow and breathe through.. Maybe there is a small hole in it, where the air escapes a bit when you are inhaling, thus not getting the total air intake you need. I would think at least one of those 3 doctors should have been able to give you a definite diagnoses. Did they do any x-rays or any other exam other than visual? I would look for a specialist who will check in depth for any kind of abnormal airway. Good Luck.

Do you feel a growth in this area? The number one cause of breathing problems are fear, anxiety and stress.

The principal gland in the limbic system is the hypothalamus. in fact it's called the brain of the endocrine system. Very important part, although it directly answers to the pituitary which is another gland involved in the limbic system, it is actually the hypothalamus which integrates the autonomic nervous system as well as the endocrine system.

Remember psychology says that the soul is comprised of two compartments: conscious and collective unconscious. What psychology is calling the collective unconscious is in fact the "spirt of man."

Psychology says in the collective unconscious are the archetypes and dark shadows of our ancestral heritage.

Does this feel like something is trying to choke you? I know you think I am a total nut, but have you dealt into witchcraft, tarot cards, Quiji Boards, joined any occult, Masonic Order, or in any way could you have invited (by opening your mind to)
a familiar spirit inside of you. Some people experience this more when laying down.

Do you know of a church that can lay hands upon you and pray? Or cast out spirits? If you have exhausted the avenues of modern medicine, then contact a Deliverance Ministry in your area.

When you try to find a solution, but it doesn't produce fruit. When it produces more fear, hopelessness and despair
and you are geared up to fight a stressor and that part of your inside is not feeling safe, there are all kinds of weird things that can happen inside your body.

Deliverance Ministries have had many, many victories in healing disease or problems doctors can't solve. I'm not trying to push deliverance ministries. I'm trying to get you some help, because it looks as if you don't know what to do next. These people don't heal, God heals, but they have the Holy Spirit inside of them.

If we would start with God first, instead of last, we would save ourselves from a lot of unnecessary problems. He is the Healer!

It could be an enlarged thyroid gland. If you had rotted tonsils, be sure it didnt have any abscesses. I presume that you were given antibiotics for that so infection is out of the picture. A thyroid could be enlarged even if it is not so visible. The gland is butterfly shaped and above the collarbone and below your adams apple. It could be compressing your airway. An ultrasound or ct scan can confirm it.

The thyroid is a butterfly-shaped gland that sits low on the front of the neck. Your thyroid lies below your Adam’s apple, along the front of the windpipe. The thyroid has two side lobes, connected by a bridge (isthmus) in the middle. When the thyroid is its normal size, you’re unlikely to be able to feel it.
All types of hyperthyroidism are due to overproduction of thyroid hormones, but the condition can develop in several ways.
Thyroid hormone production can be suppressed or halted completely in these ways: https://tr.im/eN96l

I have had similiar problems due to acid reflux. One thing I would recommend is vanilla ice cream. Allergies have given me this problem, and so has smoking. If you smoke, quit. Ask your doctor to do an X-Ray if your nervous, I know when I experience this it makes me pretty nervous, but it ussually goes away.
