When I was in Africa I got a random scab on my wrist. Since then I've been getting random scabs on my body-on my ankle, over my knee, on my arm, and now i have a cluster of them on my calf. Is there some kind of disease or rash that can cause this? Because I can't think of anything I could have done to get these scabs.

Question:

Say a person has, say 5% Heart Disease. O-kay?

Once a person gets that 5% damaged heart disease......there no way ever to get Rid of that 5% heart damaging, right?

I mean, I'm saying, once anyone gets 5% - 10% of their Heart damaged by Gum disease.....there no way to make that person's Heart 100% healthy again, right?

His or her Heart will always stay only 90% or 95% in good health. No retrograting back to 100%, right??

He used a condom, but i realized after i got up that ejaculate was seeping out, so right then i knew it broke. Today, i took a plan B pill and i'm going to take the second one in twelve hours. Still, what are the chances of the pill not being effective? and what are the chances of contracting an STD? He's only used a condom once before, but he has had sex quite a few times, with quite a few girls.
i know that you'll say " get tested!!!!!"
but, thing is, i'm only fifteen ( yeah yeah, i know, too young ) and i have no way of getting to a clinic or the doctor's office.

should i be worried?

This might be gross. Okay so about a month or so ago, i noticed my hair was shedding a lot more that it usually does. but i didn't really pay any mind to it. but then a few weeks ago, i got these like, patches of crap on my scalp and they are real sensetive and they bleed and stuff when i wash my hair and they burn and stuff. i don't know if the 2 have anything to do with eachother, i'm just wondering what might help those scabby things or what it even is.

Since my baby was born, he has had shaking and jerking episodes. He had a seizure at 3 weeks that lasted a minute or two. The neurologist said that the light colored patches on his body are called hypomelonotic macules. Since he has also had seizures, he feels that he may have a mild case of tuberous sclerosis. He also says that 50% of people with seizures do show signs on the battery of tests that are given to determine a cause(MRI, EEG and CAT scan. Tuberous Sclerosis does not have cure and is in the clinical stages of study so the treatment is in the preliminary stage. I would just like to know if there are any other conditions that would have these signs.

Given how much evidence there is that smoking tobacco is dangerous to your health and can kill you eventually, do you think that smoking is a slow way of commiting suicide? I do. Smoking has been shown to give you Lung Cancer, as well as other respiratory problems such as Emphysema ( let me know if i spelled that wrong). It can also cause other types of cancer. For instance, my grandfather had bladder cancer last year (it is gone now) and the doctors said it was probably because he used to smoke. Also, my cousin's stepfather was also diagnosed with bladder cancer earlier this year, and the doctors said it was probably because he smokes. Smoking has been proven to reduce your lifespan. So, given all this evidence, it seems to me that anyone who smokes must either be suicidal or just plain stupid. What do you think?

asthma, arthritis and recently underwent c-spine fusion surgery. I have always believed that fibromyalgia was not really a disease, but in the last several months, have been completely disabled. I am unable to walk, drive and even cry when washing my hair. The rheumatologist I saw told me fibromyalgia is real, even though it cannot be verified by lab tests. I am going to start taking neurontin, along with my other meds. Does neurontin help and also, if the pain is so disabling that I am unable to do even simple things, what kind of prognosis do I have for things to get better?

last night my friend and i were locked out of her house around 7. so we had to sit there until 9:30 in her backyard. i have 72 mosquito bites- ive counted many times. most on my legs, arms, anklles and side. on my side there is a cluster of mosquito bites (cluster of 9) and 2 as big as a quarters. one with an opening in the middle(little hole). the opening looks like its bleeding, but its not. i am in terrible agony trying to scratch 72 extremly itchy mosquito bites. there are 2 more i have that are as big/bigger than quarters. one on my thigh, one my my shin. and there are atleast 30 that are as big as pennys. can i get any diseases from having these many mosquito bites? if you konw something that can help me please tell me. i'm so miserable. thanks <3dani
