He used a condom, but i realized after i got up that ejaculate was seeping out, so right then i knew it broke. Today, i took a plan B pill and i'm going to take the second one in twelve hours. Still, what are the chances of the pill not being effective? and what are the chances of contracting an STD? He's only used a condom once before, but he has had sex quite a few times, with quite a few girls.
i know that you'll say " get tested!!!!!"
but, thing is, i'm only fifteen ( yeah yeah, i know, too young ) and i have no way of getting to a clinic or the doctor's office.

should i be worried?

Plan B is very effective (up to 89%) if it has been taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex. I have personally been on regular birth control pills for nearly 7 years and I've forgotten to take them a few times. I took Plan B those couple of times I forgot and I've never been pregnant (luckily). So, if used correctly, it can be very effective in preventing a pregnancy.

As for STDs, I would highly suggest you get tested. I know you are young, but there are places you can go to like Planned Parenthood or your local STD clinic. Some places will even test you for free. You'll have to do a little research on the web, or calling around in your area to find out where you can go.

I was diagnosed with HPV and genital herpes when I was 17 years old. I developed cervical cancer from my HPV soon after. It was one of the most phyically painful and emtional times of my life and I wouldn't wish that on anyone!

You really need to protect yourself against STDs and pregnancy. You wouldn't want to get something deadly or life threatening like HIV/AIDS or HPV right? Be careful and good luck to you!

plan B works so dont worry about that. About getting an STD you have to know that even if you do use a condom you can still get a STD. Jus by having skin contact with someone infected. The fact that he has has sex with a lot more girl with out using a condom your chances are big. If its an STD just wait for the symptoms which for herpes can occur 2 to 20 days after and genital warts 3 to 6 months after. Atleast those STD you BREAK OUT so you will KNOW. HIV/AIDS does not have symptoms so thats a scary thing. but if you can get tested 6 months after you have had sex with that person. Your 15, accidents happen... Talk to an older friend or something see if they can take you somewhere to get tested for HIV. Find out google it there are places where you can do the test for free. Im 20 and i help friends all the time. if i could i'd drive you myself to the doctors i cant stand young girl run away from their problems or stress....... but dont stress it girl b/c stress wont change a thing. good luck. I know your probably scared to tell your mom, but do it if you dont have anyone else... whats the worst that can happen... thats your mom.. she'll probably get upset but she'll get over it.

You are 15 thats not to young, I was 13 when I first had sex. I would take a pregnancy test and if they both turn out negative then try going to a free clinic in your area, just to make sure. Condoms are only 50% accurate and that does not count for STDs or HIV. Are you feeling any changes in your body? Tired, sore breast, eating habits have changed, nausea. What does your boyfriend say about the situation? If he has been with multiple partners it is never to soon to get checked for any diseases. If you have money or a ride to a Walgreens or any corner store, you could buy a test to see. Please let me know how everything goes.

I am here for you if you need to talk or anything, remember I have been in the same situation you have and will help you.
Remember the birth control pills or any birth control are not 100%

Yes, you should be worried. What are you doing having sex at 15 without proper precautions??? You have to be on the pill. At least he used a condom. But what in the world are you doing having sex with someone who sleeps around and has unprotected sex?????

Get tested! AIDS doesn't have symptoms for YEARS. You can wait for any "itching" or "burning". You need treatment NOW if you've caught something.

If you are not mature enough to get yourself to a clinic for birth control, and testing, you have absolutely no business having sex with anyone! At this point, you need to be the little girl that you are, and tell your mommy what happened. Tell her that you had sex with someone who sleeps around and has unprotected sex, and that the condom broke, and that she has to get you to a doctor.

firstly you must b able to get to some sort of medical care to get the morning after pill.if taken within 24 hours after intercourse then the morning after pill is 96% effective.its effectiveness then decreases over a period of time up to 72 hours after intercourse when it is 74% effective.u should really get tested though, for everything.the fact that the guy sounds like he sleeps around without precautions would have me very worried.you need to get tested for everything as soon as possible as some STIs if left untreated can leave u infertile (such as chlamydia) aslo you need to get a second test for HIV in 3 months time as it can take up to 3months to appear.if this guy tells u hes ok and all healthy please dont just take his word for it as he may not even know if he has something as a lot of STIs can exist in your system without any noticeable symptoms.i no it may be difficult to get ther but surely js pullin a sick day once from school or telling a little fib about a weekend day trip to your parents is better than letting things fester in your system and doing any amount of damage to u.please go and get tested as soon as possible.and mayb pick a guy thats a little safer and more caring in the future.

well if u took the Plan B test then you should be protected... dont worry about it. my friends boyfriend didnt use a condom AT ALL and she got the pill the next day and didnt get pregnant. its VERY effective! and about getting tested you should wait a few days and if any itching, swelling or odor begins then go to a clinic and just tell your mom or whoever adult you trust to take you b/c your feeling really sick and they should take you and thats when you can tell the Dr. to test you. however i would STRONGLY advise you to tell your mom about getting tested b/c you dont want any surprises later ahead in life....
