If the surgery your doctor wants to perform is an electrophysiology procedure, then go for it! You will feel so much better.

Best of luck to you!

I'd wait and find out what the Dr. says. It sounds like you may have some sort of arrhythmia, which can usually be treated by meds. Your cardiologist will let you know which option is best for your problem. There are also some pretty non-invasive procedures that can be done to correct the problem (non-invasive compared to open heart surgery). Do some research when you find out what it is, and seek a second opinion if you don't have a tight relationship with your cardiologist.

By wiring problem do you mean electrical or do you mean blocked arteries? If you have an electrical problem, it is possible that your doctor may suggest a pacemaker. these are wonderful, and surgery is very easy.
Sometimes it is hard to decide when surgery is the right way to go. Personally,I think it is often better to have surgery earlier rather than later because you might be in better health and tolerate the procedure better and recover more quickly. Then it is time to make healthy choices to stay that way.

It really depends on your specific situation. If you use meds, you will have to take them for the rest of your life. If you use surgery, there is the chance that it might not work.

Talk with your doctor about it.

Good luck! My grandfather had a similar problem and had to have a pacemaker.

Meds are always the best way to go if they work. Surgery as the last resort.

Make a list of all questions you have about your condition and when you visit the doctor ask him to answer them. Then listen to everything he says and take notes, you will then be in a position to make an informed decision.
Good luck.
