husband been in rehab, and now in an out-patient program. Has been clean for a lil over a month. He never told me about this random drug test he had last Monday, until this last Thursday when he came home from a meeting, saying he failed Mondays drug test, he tested positive for Valium. He says he has not taken any. He is a medic, and he says he had a valve to break on him with Valium...but he didn't think that would have caused it, he also says sometimes what u eat can cause a test to show positive. In my mind I am thinking this are all excuses... Can someone medical trained tell me if any of this is possible or may have gone through this and know? I do know his choice of drugs was NOT Valium..it was opiates...yes I know that makes no difference...but it does make his side look a lil more convincing which is why I am asking is any of those stories possible?

My boyfriend is a recovering alcoholic and relapsed for a few days. He stopped about 12 hrs ago but has to go to work tomorrow and his hands will shake. He's panicked, should I give him Advil, sugar, carbs, benadryl, calcium? Will anything help him not shake. He will be going back to AA meetings but what can we do right now?

I have these round/cracked looking lesions in my downstairs. I also have a bunch of cold sores in my mouth. I've been reading up to see what it might be and I think it could be Herpes. But this seems very unlikely to me b/c I've only had 2 sexual partners (both virgins) and I was tested. my boyfriend was also tested about a year ago and the last 2 women he slept with came back negative for STD's. He assures me he is clean. I thought the lesions were just from the friction experienced when grinding on each other the other night. we havent had sex. some of the symptoms fit, some dont. I'm just very worried. I'm gonna go get tested ASAP. anybody know what it might be besides herpes?

It showed up on Tuesday and since then I have used Neosporin, I have put it under super hot water, I have used Cortaid, and now I am using this perscription my grandma got when she had it.

The problem is it needs to be gone. I need it to be gone by Wednesday, are there any home remedies or something that makes it clear up faster?

Please help.

Im 15 and i have been on minocin for a few months its been working but my acne deffinatly hasnt been cured and my dermotologist gave me the choice to go on accutane after my next minocin treatment, but i was told that i would have to get regular blood tests to make sure its not harming my liver. is this absolutly neccessary or does it just depend on whos taking it. also im still only 15 and have only tryed minocin as an oral antibiotic and iv been reading about the side effects of this drug and was wondering if it is worth trying now or if i should try other antibiotics first. i have tried many thing in the past such as proactive(crap) and other creams prescribed to me by my dermotologist but nothing seems to work and i have heard that accutane is pretty much the strongest thing to take and has cured almost all of its users (with some ecceptions) of acne, my mom being one of those people and she hasnt had a pimple in 10 years.

Would prefer solutions that dont require cotton balls or pads. Also, anything that helps facial acne during times of stress, and any tips on lifestyle changes to eliminate moderate face acne would help! Thanks!!

I've noticed a small sized lump on my lower back, located on the left side of my spine. It's roughly the size of a marble and very soft. I could move it around somewhat....It wasn't there a week ago. What could it be? Should I worry about it? It grew that big in one week!
