I have these round/cracked looking lesions in my downstairs. I also have a bunch of cold sores in my mouth. I've been reading up to see what it might be and I think it could be Herpes. But this seems very unlikely to me b/c I've only had 2 sexual partners (both virgins) and I was tested. my boyfriend was also tested about a year ago and the last 2 women he slept with came back negative for STD's. He assures me he is clean. I thought the lesions were just from the friction experienced when grinding on each other the other night. we havent had sex. some of the symptoms fit, some dont. I'm just very worried. I'm gonna go get tested ASAP. anybody know what it might be besides herpes?

It can be herpes. You can get a type of herpes virus in or on your mouth (cold sores). Go to your gynecologist asap. Find out if it really is herpes first. If it is, your bf cannot be trusted and you probably contracted it from him. It can also be Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) which is also a common STD.

It certainly sounds like classic herpes. The problem with being tested is that you have to culture the blisters/sores at a certain time...not after they have started to heal or the test can come back negative. Blood tests can be done. The combination of sores in both areas is very suspicious of herpes. As far as what you've read and that some of the symptoms fit and some do not; not all cases are the same. There are people who have herpes and don't even know it because they don't have any symptoms. "Most people infected with HSV-2 (gential herpes) are not aware of their infection." Quoted from the CDC fact sheet. See link below. Someone's word that they are clean is just not good enough!

I got diagnosed with herpes virus (type 2) about 7 yrs ago, while I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I understand a lot of young ladies will say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/0i0lL everything improved.
Not only was I able to remove all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This method provided the chance to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to help you too by sharing this with the whole World.

Once exposed to the virus, there is an incubation period that generally lasts 3 to 7 days before a lesion develops. During this time, there are no symptoms and the virus cannot be transmitted to others. An outbreak usually begins as an itching or tingling sensation followed by redness of the skin. Finally, a blister forms. The blisters and subsequent ulcers that form when the blisters break, are usually very painful to touch and may last from 7 days to 2 weeks. The virus is contagious from the time of itching to the time of complete healing of the ulcer.

Sounds like it is herpes. If you have them on your mouth and you give a guy a bj you can pass herpes (or vice vercia), if you have them down stairs and dont know and he goes down on you and then kisses you that too can cause herpes. Sex with or without a condom can pass it as well.
Although it is hard to believe....sometimes when people tell you they have been tested or they are ONLY sleeping with you...they are lying! When it comes to safe sex just assume they are not clean and be as safe as possible. It really is a scary world out there when it comes to sex. Be careful and see a Doc...good luck!

The only way to know what you have is to have an exam. If you don't want to go to a doctor, at least go to a public health clinic. They will test you for free and give you the meds that you need.
In the future, until you are totally monogamous (both of you), use a condom. There is some scary sh*t out there. Chlamydia is very infectious and can leave you unable to have children.
Remember this: no glove, no love.
