I'm married, 37 and childless and definately want to remain that way! We also don't carry insurance...therefore I need to know how much it costs.

Why not call the hospital in your city and ask them what they charge.
Or your husband could get a vasectomy. Usually that is cheaper. But ask for prices for both.

Call your dr or gyn they are your best bet. I know plan parent hood goes on your income if you can't afford the cost. But check with them I know in my state you have to have two children before you can get certain permanent procedures done.
I do have a girl friend who her and her husband want no children and he had the work done it was cheaper and she did not have to go through that two children thing.
