If they were caused by for example burning, or because of an unconfortable shoe, they wont spread. However, i've had some blisters on my arm which looked like they came from burning, though they didnt, and when the doctor popped them[thinking i burnt my arm, and applying some medicine on them] more of them appeared after a couple of days.
If you are really bothered by a blister, dont pop it, just pinch a small hole in it with a needle, drain it, then put some bandaid on it to avoid infection. That should help.

It can if its a herpes blister, poison oak, poison ivy, chicken pox, measles and the like. That's because the fluid inside contains the virus (or oil in the case of the poison plants )
other wise if its just a burn (or a shoe blister) it wont spread. If they do spread you better get to a Doctor to find out what it is.

They will spread if poison ivy, oak, or sumac, and Small Pox or Chicken Pox.
Friction blisters will not spread, but you should prevent infection.

Nope they can't. Once they pop they should go away. I wouldn't scratch or pop a blister though. I would let it go away on its own.
