Has anyone with an upper respiratory infection experienced chest soreness? I have one and am an asthmatic and my chest constantly hurts. I went to the docs and they gave me an antibiodic and a new inhaler. I'm already on Pulmicort, Albuterol, Singulair and now Advair.

Is the soreness due to the asthma or the infection? And what can I do to stop the pain and soreness in my chest?

I just got a letter saying I had atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance and tested positive for HPV. The doctor wants to do a colposcopy and biopsy. Does this mean he thinks I have cancer or precancer. I had genital warts a few months ago, could there just be some inside the vagina that caused the bad Pap or could it be something more serious. Can warts be the cause of a bad Pap. I guess my question is what are the possible outcomes of this Pap result and a colposcopy and possible treatments?

My grandmother and a friend's father both went though hospice care and both times we were with the understanding that it was the 'end' and the patients were being made comfortable and without pain.

My aunt has what we understood to be a cronic blood cancer. Not terminal, but cronic; having to take serious chemo for most of her remaining life. My aunt is 73 and willing to take the chemo. The new round would be extremely strong and make her very ill. Her two grown daughters though have convienced her to stop chemo and enter hospice care.

My cousin is certain they will continue her tests and blood work and take care of her. Somewhat like long term care but feel certain hospice is not for long term care but only to make her comfortable while she is alive.

I need advice on this matter. Any one have more knowledge then us? Our experience has been in Texas and my Aunt lives in Arkansas if that makes a difference. (Which my cousin says it does!)

I've had moderate allergies for years -- just sneezing and an itchy/runny nose (no congestion or more serious symptoms). I take Benadryl at night because it helps the symptoms and helps me sleep, but I'm looking for something effective that I can take during the day.

I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and was thinking of requesting a prescription, but I wanted to see what has worked well (and with the fewest side effects) for others. I was thinking about trying Astelin because it's advertised as being good for environmental irritants (and I know I'm allergic to some perfumes) but I've also heard it can have some pretty serious side effects.

Suggestions from personal experience please. Thanks!

Is it was ok to use a gentle moisturizer before applying retin a micro, or if it would decrease the effectiveness?
I apply the retin a micro once, at night, after washing my face, than in the morning i wash my face again and put on a sunblock moisturzer before applying any makeup.
The reason i was to know is my face is a little red and i was hoping maybe the extra lotion may help, i was thinking either using cetaphil facial lotion, or maybe trying the eucerin redness reducer for my night lotion? any thoughts are appreciated! thanks
