yeast infections are normally in your uritogenial tract, and there are no sebacous glands there. there are other glands that secrete different types of mucosa, but the sebacous glands only secrete oil like on face, hands, etc. if you think something might be irritated by a yeast infection, see a Dr. first, as it may be something more serious with only a few symptoms that may seem unrelated. =)

it is most likely fleas both of my cats had fleas 2 times so iv dealt with this before check you cat with a real fine toothed comb and if the hair or comb has little black dots then it is for sure fleas the black dots will be flea eggs and if you said your cat has had them for a few weeks im sure you have a pretty bad flea problem you could go buy flea shampoo or if you have dawn dish soap that also works well to get rid of the fleas. you might want to google it and if they have alot of flea eggs they have prob infested your home so you might have to use a flea bomb to make sure that they dont come back because it is a really anoying problem you might have to wash all your fabrics and clothing hope this helps
