I have recently been diagnosed with arthritis in my L5 and S1 facet joing in my spine. Doctor gave it a 6 on a 1-10 scale of severity. What can I do to help this? I heard shark cartilage and soy help...any suggestions?

he can't sit or stand without fidgetting and always seems on edge, I have heard of a condition called st vitas dance that has similar symptoms. At first I laughed at what this illness was called but a friend of the family told me her grandmother had it, just wondering id anyone has any imformation on this illness?

Hello to everyone, so I am constantly cold throughout the day and night. I always feel like I need a blanket or coat around me and sometimes even then I am cold. My kids tell me all the time mom your going to run me out of the house, its too hot in here (I am still cold.)! It can be 70 degrees outside and I will have the heater on. I am 33 yrs old I have had some medical condtions such as a full hysterectomy and things associated with that. ANyways I dont understand why I am so cold all the time so does anyone have any suggestions?

All day long it acks I do take medication for it but I am not sure it working. The drug I am takeing is called Lyrica 200MG. Just not working for me but everyone says yes it works no more pain...... Been takeing it almost all year know. Will I always have this pain?

My husband was working on our car, loosening the fuel filter and it broke, spraying gasoline all over his face and inside his ear. Now it burns him really bad. My finger is so swollen, and it hurts real bad. what can I do to
rid the pain and swelling? I can hardly hold a pen now and I do

For any insulin dependent diabetics...if inhaled insulin was more common and available...would any of you consider switching to it?

I doubt I would. I have been diabetic for many years and I'm so used to shots that I hardly think about it. The shots don't hurt and using insulin pens make it pretty convenient. It's become so routine that I just do it.

I used to use a pump but it didn't work as well for me as the doctor had hoped and I no longer use it. I take 4-6 shots a day and one of those is my daily Lantus (30 units every morning) and the rest are my Humalog (12 units per meal).

Inhaled insulin sounds great for people who hate taking shots or are afraid of needles. Opinions?
