I have degeneative disc disease (spelling) and doing physical therapy. But am finding out that if I have to bend over to pick something up off of the floor, or pick up dirty clothes, it seems to bother me at the end of the day. My back gets tired and sore. My job I do, involves alot of bending and I'm hoping that I can go back to work soon. But I'm worried about the bending.

I have just been diagnosed with have a kidney stone stuck right where the eureter enter the bladder. Fortunately? it is only 2mm big. It hasn't passed yet, but let me tell you, so far that little sucker has been a painful visitor.
What I would like to know is, is it possible that this will be a one time deal?

My brother died in march who had a wife of 5 years and 2 children I have had counciling and am taking anti-depressants and although the pain has got easier to deal with i still find it hard to cope when religious people say that he's in a better place and that he was needed else were. When in my eyes he was most needed here with his family and he was in the best place he was (with his family) He was only 32 and had a very rare case of liver cancer and he had done absolutely nothing wrong in his life whatsoever he didnt drink much at all and never took drugs his only vice was he smoked until he was 27 wow big deal there is no justice in the world

Are you aware of the risks involved ? Hepititis C is called "the silent epidemic" Millions of people who have invested in tatoos and body piercings are not aware that they have contracted Hep C until years later. They are not aware because they have had no symptoms. There is also a high risk of contracting HIV.
Do your research, don't just take my word for it . Is it really worth the risk ?

I feel like I've been going to my doctor a lot and he might be ignoring me. I've been having myoclonic twitches off and on for several months now. I told him about it and he didn't do anything about it. I still have the problem. I'm afraid that I will have a full fledge seizure if we don't figure out why these are happening.

The twitches happen every day and are worse when I'm at rest. I feel like a hyperchondriac. Should I pester him again? I was thinking about looking for another doctor. What do you think I should do?

These myoclonic twitches are outside the norm. I'm in the medical field and know that this isn't normal. We all have twitches, but these are bad involving the entire body or just a limb. But occurs several times in one minute...I should know what to do. Medical professionals are the worst when it comes to their own health....

I have poison ivy on my wrist pretty bad, can I go in my own hot tub and it will be ok, or will it be bad and spread? I don't want my other family members to catch it, and I don't know if it can spread threw water...It's not leaking oils right now, it's pretty much dried up, but it's still really itchy. So I don't know if I should go in or not....

He has been real stuffy, and coughing, etc. He has been on 2 antibiotics, saline nose drops everyday, suctioning out his nose, a decongestant 4 times a day, breathing treatments 4 to 5 times a day, and still not better. I'm curious if HIV-tainted blood splattered on the open wounds of someone else, could HIV be transmitted this way?
I ask this, oddly enough, because there was a sequence in a Daredevil comic book in which a situation like this happened. One person was mortally hurt, and blood from this HIV-infected person, splattered on another person who had several open wounds.
Thanks.
