Yes I have had it. In my case, it hurt and had to see a Dr for a mouthwash. Some people do have it though and it doesn't bother them.
If it bothers you go to the doctor. Mine was caused by a yeast infection.

If your tongue is sore or has a burning sensation, avoid spicy or hot foods, alcohol, and tobacco. Toothpastes that contain tartar-control additives or flavoring may also aggravate it.
