My son lost one of his front two teeth (bottom) a few months ago and today he lost the one right next to it. The new tooth (from the first lost tooth) is coming out a little behind where the other tooth was. Is this normal or do the teeth normally come out in the same spot?

About a year ago I had two fillings, on my lower molars, one on each side. I still cannot chew anything crunchy, firm or cold without pain. Sometimes when I brush my teeth I hit a spot with sharp pain there too. I need to use warm water to gargle with , hot or cold hurt those two spots. I have been back to have them checked, filed down, twice (at a different clinic), and they say there is nothing wrong, that i will need two root canals. why? i didnt need root canals before the filling, so did they screw up the filing? I cannot afford root canals, and since they are chewing teeth, and on both sides, i cant just have them pulled, which is cheaper. i want x-rays to be sure, but they cost money too, and i dont know what they would show. Has this happened to anyone else?

On Friday I had 4 wisdom teeth removed. Two were pulled two were surgically extracted and were both impacted mostly boney. Friday I stayed in a mostly out of it state, slept most the day. Saturday I woke up feeling great. I thought what a breeze. I run a home daycare so my plan was to take the Hydrocodene ever 4hours Friday then try to go 6 hours Sat and then today I wanted to take Ibuprofen instead so that tomorrow I could keep kids meds free. Sat after 5 hours I was in tears and its been hurting more than I thought. Is that normal? WHen is it safe to resume normal activity such as working out? How much ibuprofen can I take at a time? I don't want to take off work if I don't have to but it still hurts and I feel I still need pain killers but I don't feel its safe to take pain killers like hydrocodene while caring for kids alone. Just want some info. Thanks

My boss's breath is revolting. I'm spending a fortune on mints to offer him. It's honestly terrible. I could never say to him, so there's not much i can do is there? If i left mouthwash etc on his desk, he'd know it was from me. Any ideas? His armpits aren't too fresh either. His feet also stink.

I've just been trying to have a bath but had to get out after about fifteen minutes because the toothache was so bad. I've noticed that if I'm sitting down it rages and then fades when I stand up, as it did when I got out of the bath.

I've theorised that it could have something to do with atmospheric pressure but surely that would mean that if I was standing up on the ground floor, it would be worse than if I was sitting down on the upper floor but that's not the case. Why?

I am very seriously bulimic and have been for 6 years. This past week, it's been especially bad and from chewing so much food, I have horrible cuts and sores on my tongue, and the acid from the vomit only makes it worse.
Well I can't really eat or drink anything as of now because it hurts so bad - my question is, is there anything I can do to alleviate the pain or to make it heal faster? Also, what are some good foods or drinks I can eat without it hurting (anything even slightly acidic is out of the question!).

Please don't respond with remarks about my eating disorder. I know how serious it is and have been trying to get better (couseling, medicine, etc) for years. I don't need to hear what I already know about how I'm killing myself - just any advice on how to alleviate the cuts in my mouth would be very much appreciated.

I am 16, I pretty much realize I have tongue-tie, so I can barely stick my tongue out of my mouth. Is this going to ruin any chances for being able to kiss or make out correctly? Advice other then surgery?

On average, how long do you think it'll take? With numbing and extracting, what's your time estimate? I can manage an hour without twilight sleep, but if this is generally a 2-3-4 hour ordeal, I don't want to know!

(PS Thanks to everyone to advised me a couple of days ago to see a dentist ASAP for the infection. I did, got antibiotics, and have an extraction scheduled.)

Hello, back in November I began complaining of pain behind the eyes, teeth hurting especially upper teeth, pressure on head (dizziness and sometimes off balance). I went to the doctor and was told I have a sinus infection. Went on antibotics symptoms didnt go away. Since than I've noticed my jaw is cracking and popping. My ears are popping and feel clogged (get pain behind the ears as well). Sometimes pain at the back of my end, were it hurts to touch my scalp. Just Random pains in my head sometimes, they usually dont last long but are worriesome. Pain in my temples and sometimes pressure in my temples. Sometimes pain in the jaw area. I've had complete blood work done. I've had a sinus xray, I just found out I had acid reflux, I've gone to the eye doctor (he looked behind the eyes nothing). My dentist recently gave me a bite plate b/c he thinks I am clenching my teeth and grinding ( I work at a daycare) and all of these health issues have been stressing me out. help
