Yes I believe it is bad as it sticks to the lining of the stomach and takes a long time to digest, which is unhealthy for your child. I think instead of taking this risk it would just be easier to ask your child to spit out the gum in a bin instead of swallowing it

No, it digests with everything else they eat. The thing about it being harmful to your body is a myth. Don't believe it.
