THEY BOTH CONTAIN CITRIC ACID.LEMONS MORE THAN LIMES. CITRIC ACID IS A NATURAL ACID UNLIKE PHOSPHORIC ACID FOUND IN MOST COLAS. A VERY STRONG PHOSPHORIC ACID IS USED BY DENTISTS TO ETCH ENAMEL.

Anything that contains an acid harms your enamel. If you are eating these foods be sure to brush your teeth well.
