As far as know it does not cost anything to change the colors on the braces and you can change them every time you get an adjustment - when you go into the ortho's office

hmmm. All the orthodontists I know give folks a choice of colors (or clear) whenever they go in to get them adjusted at no charge... the braces are expensive enough! you might as well get a little perk!
Now, if you have homecoming in a week and you want to go in and get green and yellow cuz those are your school colors, I don't know.... they'll probably let you do it, just call a few days ahead and be VERY polite to the nice lady at the front desk!

Holly what your friends think of shouldn't matter in case you opt for braces and don't get them it would desire to reason some terrible discomfort to the overlapping enamel as you become previous. Your roots commence bumping at the same time and boy do I undergo in recommendations that discomfort!!!!!! do no longer overlook your enamel. this is my propose: do no longer do the clean!! Why? The clean is clean and fairly invisible yet they are very cumbersome and can be considered baring on your lips once you mouth is close. I even have the customary metallic braces with silver bands, they combination with the metallic and that they somewhat bulge! good success!

we have always been able to change the colors free of charge anytime we go in for a check up or adjustment. Its all apart of the total cost of the braces

Everytime you get them tightened they will put new colors on your braces. The whole cost thingy will probably be dicussed at a consultation or with your parents or you. You do not need to be worried. If there is no consultation ask the orthodontist and he or she will surely tell you! Good luck!

no it doesnt cost to get different colors, and they set an oppintment for about every 6-8 weeks, for you to come back, and theyll usually tighthen them, and thats when you can change your color.
sorry bout the spelling mistakes.
p.s. rubber bands are not colored. their what you can attach to one bracket to another, to tighten your teeth more, they may give you those later on. good luck with your braces.

I love it when people call them modules! that's cute. they are called 'ties' and they hold the wire into the brackets. you can change them every time you go in for an appointment. that definitely doesn't cost extra, its part of treatment. have fun with your braces!
