I just had my top, right wisdom tooth extracted this time yesterday (24 hrs ago). When can I stop using gauze to cover the hole? I've canged it several times now. And also, when does the clot in the hole heal? I'm constantly paranoid that I'm going to wash it loose and get dry socket. Thanks for your help!

When I was younger, about 7 or 8 I think, I had a very bad time at the dentists, and it is still afecting me now into my teens. I went last week, and ended up having a panic attack and hyperventilating, it was so embarrasing.
The thing is I go to the dentist regularly, but if anything, the fear and reaction is getting worse.
Any ideas on what could help?

Why does it feel like an electric shock, and so painful when you bite on tin foil? I always wondered that, I know it has to do with fillings.

They bleed every time I brush my teeth, but only on my upper right side, nowhere else. They're also sore constantly, and feel like they could be swollen. I do have a cavity on that side I have to get filled soon - could that be the cause or is it something else? It hurts pretty badly - sore to the touch as well as a general dull ache.

I found out about 6 months ago that my crazy doctor had me on 4 times the legal dosage of this drug, i was taking 120 miligrams of adderall xr DAILY. i had been taking this dosage from the start of 7th grade to right before the start of my senior year of high school, i have been working hard with my doctor, and im finally down to 30 miligrams, next week i plan on movin down to 20.

I have HORRIBLE Teeth! is there any way that this drug could have caused my bad teeth? my understanding is that adderall xr is a combination of 4 different methamfedamines (i have adhd), and meth users usually get bad teeth from it.
my doctor said he has never heard of something like that happening, but im wondering what such a high dosage would do?

please help me

i just ran my fastest mile in a track meet, and i was feelin this cavity in my back molar and i chipped off a pin head sized chunk of the tooth. now the cavity is a little larger than a pea, and runs from the side of my tooth to a little bit into the crown.
i want it pulled
there is no way i can afford another crown ontop of my other 4 i just had put in, and it doesnt look like it's going to be the last either.
i'm just turned 18 years old, and i've got a whole lot of college stuff i need to set up cause' it's not cheap, there is no way i can afford to get my teeth fixed up, so im just gonna start yanking them.
im really scared, it seems like no matter what i do my teeth just seem to get worse, i feel completely helpless. i dont want to eat my money but i know it's only going to get worse . im getting really fed up with this. ever since i've been young i've been told i need to brush and floss more, and i do. it's not enough :-\

Please help me

About a year ago, I had an abcess tooth. I had a root canal done, and now I have a bump on my gum above the tooth that looks like another abcess. Is this possible if there is no root left in that tooth? There is occasional discomfort, but it is very mild. It is kind of hard to describe. It also feels kind of numb.

See for the bridge of the nose..its suppose to be straight. I have a slight bump..only seen to the side.. but I hate it.. it makes me ensecure. thats why I don't take pictures. I want a straight bridge. That operation can't be no more than 3 grand. its just shaving of the bridge right?
Is there any good surgens in Ontario that don't go over 3 grand. I've called places and its 6 grand.. shake my head.. damn shame for a simple operation. its not a drastic change.. any ideas where is good for a good financial price?
