Like if i go to get them whitened would they do it or is it not allowed

I would strongly advise against it. The brackets that are attached to your teeth are covering a portion of your tooth. When the braces are removed that patch will be the same color it was before you put them on. If you alter the color of the surrounding teeth surface you will have darker squares where your braces once were. Plus some whitening solutions could be corrosive to the rubber bands that secure the wire to the brackets.

They recommend whitening after braces are off.

Bad idea! When you get your braces off, your teeth will have two colors! Just wait until after you get them off to whiten, or else your teeth will look fugly.

Thatd be kinda silly. You'd have lines all over your teeth. You need to wait untiol theyre off. Why wouldn't you wait anyway?
